Whatever. It's not a person, it's a computer. I don't think it's pandering to anything, I think you see the world the way you want to see it.

It's just a computer. And mine's volume is set to zero.

What a pointless thing to complain about. Using a female announcer voice isn't sexist. It's daft to suggest that it is. And it's despicable that some people here would pretend to support the idea that it is just to make themselves look better.

Female voices are simply more pleasing to listen to, that is all. No political correctness involved. I don't think the OP is being serious, but that he's intentionally formulating his posts to be as provocative as possible, because he gets a kick out of causing offense.

If Frontier is going to offer different voice packs at some point, I hope the first one they implement will be for the Imperial Accent. It's a rather big deal according to the lore.

I prefer a female voice for the ship, more intimate and personal, in those close quarters. The stations are more suitable for a male voice, given all the room for a booming voice, and that potentially growing ego.
