Dinosaurs Buildings & Attractions Concept of a Jurassic World style aviary and its Pteranodons

Now finally knowing what the aviary is like in-game, thanks to BestInSlot’s showcase video, I can now finally feel free to describe how a Jurassic World themed aviary would work, as well as its Pteranodons.

First off, the aviary would be no too different at all from the current aviary by technical standards. The only differences it would have are the visual styles of both the aviary itself and its exclusive Pteranodons.

The aviary from Return to Jurassic Park is designed to match your the aesthetics of the structure from Jurassic Park III as a gigantic “bird cage”. In Jurassic World, it is more like a gigantic glass biodome, something like the greenhouse in-game.

The Pteranodons would match the respective design as in the JW trilogy saga. If you have the JP setting for your parks, the JP trilogy saga designs appear as the pictures for the dinosaur by default. Here, it would be the same, albeit in its own unique way.

JP aviary: Default picture on the aviary screen will be the JPIII pteranodon. Its Pteranodons will always be the ones from that DLC.

JW aviary: Default picture on the aviary screen will be the JW series pteranodon. Its Pteranodons will always be the ones with the basic JW trilogy saga design.

Like the JP trilogy saga Pteranodons from the new DLC, you can customize the skin colors for the JW style Pteranodons.

(Now, imagine if you were to apply the “Rainforest Gene” on to them, would the red on the Pteranodons become blue? I would love to see more noticeable blue on this particular design in-game from Rainforest.)

DLC wise, it would make sense if it were to be introduced in a JW style DLC expansion pack, but I’m not sure of what kind though as the big DLCs are always well established into the lore of what campaigns they’re placed in. Or, could this be just part of a feature of a free big update, considering it’s literally just a “copy” of the aviary from Return to Jurassic Park?

Either way, it would be nice if the aviary also has access to the Dimorphodon, another pterosaur with another noticeable appearance on-screen from the JW trilogy saga of the film series, to make the JW aviary feel more like a replica from Jurassic World itself.
(I will explain more about it in a suggestion comment in the Dinodaur Wishlist Thread as soon as I can when I’m free later on.)

Forgot something for here:

The Pteranodons in the Jurassic World films have a design that is what you see in that DPG picture I posted above. But in the first in-universe website, there was also a design that is similar to what you see in the movies, albiet with a duller colorization on the wings and much of the body, and probably a slightly taller crest, but I could be wrong on the latter. Judging by how the Lost World incarnation of the on-screen Pteranodon made it into the game, in a way, in regards to its colorization, I could imagine this design below doing the same as the "Alpine" skin of the JW version, just like how there is an "Alpine" skin of the JP Pteranodon in the game already, if that is to be decided and planned that is.

(This is the design from the in-universe website. Notice how it's different from the ones above in the DPG picture, the model and colorization that was used in the films.)

I have been thinking of this recently. After finally experiencing what the aviary is like in-game for the first time myself just hours ago (and completing the JP campaign at the same time), I feel it's safe to say there is enough room for a few "Dimorphodons", even with the maximum of six pteranodons added.

So, maybe if there are to be Dimorphodons for a JW style aviary, which would be a definite direction as they are on-screen and notable pterosaurs from the film series, both pterosaurs for the JW aviary shall have their own slot rows just as the Pteranodons currently have. If this were to be true for a hypothetical JW style aviary, the same system could be added to the existing JP style aviary. However, because the Pteranodons are a focused species for the characters on Mission 6, perhaps they could either be disabled for the JP setting for that campaign and Challenge mode, or they could be accessible for that campaign once after you complete Mission 6.

I really hope they add the JW style Pteranodon and aviary. I hate the JP style because of its teeth, and Pteranodon literally means "toothless wing"...
