ok.. but I didn't see anything about weather in Odyssey posted anywhere. I've been wanting that feature since it was released. o7It's hardly a new invention.

Im in Devon and its slashing it down here too, and yesterday was 24degreesThere's going to be weather now?
it has the usb in the back? will my thrustmaster hotas not work? would love to play ED on my big screen tv downstairs in the living room+1 - I've been running Elite Dangerous: Odyssey for about 8 months via Shield TV Pro. If you have a fast internet connection, and you stump up for the full fat "RTX 3080" membership, then you can expect to playing in 4K with 7.1 surround at 60fps with all graphics settings on their highest with no perceptible lag. That membership is £15/month (if you buy in a 6-month block) - far cheaper than building an equivalent PC that's only going become obsolete when the next graphics card is released ;-)
There are a few nagging issues that may particularly annoy console and/or living room players:
* To solve mouse/keyboard issues, you can of course connect a mouse and keyboard... however I personally prefer to use the Geforce Now app's built-in keyboard/mouse overlay (hold Start button to activate).
- Every time you launch the game, it has to go through that planet generation routine, as you're effectively on a brand new PC/Graphics card each session
- The ED Launcher prevents a smooth/seamless launch via Steam - you have to manually click* on a button to actually start the game
- There's no pop-up keyboard* option for text entry (e.g. in Galaxy Map)
- It doesn't seem to support any Flight HOTAS controllers at present
- It's certainly not going to support the motion control and/or touchpad of the DualShock controllers.

Thanks for your reply. Everything you mentioned has been my experience with GeForce Now. Still use it from time to time, if I don't want to use the flight stick or Voiceattack.+1 - I've been running Elite Dangerous: Odyssey for about 8 months via Shield TV Pro.
