Continual crashes - any response from FDEV?

Thanks for the fix this morning but there doesn't appear to be any missions now.

Well, since most folks reported that missions were the culprit, they took the straight-forward approach: remove the missions. Perhaps there is something fundamentally wrong with it now and they need time to investigate.
 
So as of 5:54AM CST can't connect to the servers at all. Got disconnected with a mauve adder message. Servers are down now so maybe they looking into it.
 
Mauve adder visited here as well right now (central Europe). It's 2-3 times today during 3 hours in game. Normally I do not have those, unusual higher frequency in last 2 days.
 
Goodo. I can now start the game without an immediate crash to desktop.

For what it's worth, I did absolutely nothing on my end; didn't restart my computer, relaunch browser, change configs, delete files, nothing. Just played Jagged Alliance 3.

Problem was entirely on the server end I guess.
 
It seems their servers are not having a good day. They've apparently fixed the crashes that some were experiencing, and broke the mission boards for everyone in the process.

My car needs some maintenance anyhow, might as well get it done now :)
 
This is a good example of the unrecognized excellence of FD teams. They spend their weekend (many may have planned that otherwise) and work overtime trying to get our favorite leisure time game back. One could say, this is just the normal with DevOps (🥂), but actually it's not and definitely requires proper acknowledgement. FD staff are sterling, such a good crew. Thank you again, you rock! 🚀

EDIT: current state is: perfect conditions, zero crashes, just the missions are down. Go bounty hunting instead, explore or trade. Fight the Xenos. And cash in later \o/ :)

I can't even log into the game since the 17th of August. How come some of you can log in and I can't? I hope it is fixed soon.

Attempt to transfer cargo from FC to Ship does not transfer the items

Items appear in the count within the Ship's cargo, however when Transfer is executed and the cargo is examined, the items are not there. It can work after repeated attempts for some items while appears less successful when transferring limpets.

The issue persists when transferring from Ship cargo to FC cargo.


1. Have FC's cargo stored with various items. Include lots of limpets and more than the ship's cargo limit.
2. Navigate to Ship's Inventory and select Transfer
3. Select limpets and move all to the ship's cargo.
4. Select Confirm Items Transfer
5. Cargo items do not appear in the Ship's cargo and the missing from the FC's cargo.
6. Exit Inventory Transfer Mode and return into it and the items show back in the FC's cargo.

AND

7. Repeat the process to return Ship's cargo to FC's cargo, which does not transfer when selected to transfer. This steps is more of the issue's occurrence.

If you get no missions, try to quit to desktop and reload the game.
The connection to the mission servers seems to happen only at startup and if you lose connection to the mission servers (due to network errors or because they've restarted the mission servers) you do have to restart the game.

FWIW, I'm in the game right now, and i have missions

Edit: an i could hand in all my 8 stacked missions with no issues
