Upvote Weapons convergence game update
I'm like to up-vote this request. I went through the grind to obtain, upgrade, and engineer and type-10 for thargoid battles. I have 4 fixed guardian plasma chargers for weapons. Unfortunately, from an offensive perspective, the type-10 with fixed weapons is terrible because the weapons spread is about as wide as the thargoid interceptor. Most of the time, in order to actually hit the interceptor, I need to accept that half of my weapons will be not hit the target. From this perspective, this ship is a huge disappointment due to the weapons convergence issue.
For a recommended fix. In outfitting, it would be great to be able to define the distance in which the weapons converge. The CMDR can set the range between 500m to infinity. For me, I'd me more than happy with being able to set me converage distance at 1000m, and I accept that weapons spread occurs at shorter and longer distance. This is exactly how WWII fighter-airplanes weapons systems worked. If this can be added to the game, that would be a game changer for larger ships like my type-10. Otherwise, my type-10 will make me the weakest pilot in my wing.
