Coriolis.io - A new ship builder and comparison tool

if
1. enter all the data on the modules on the shield and armor in the Coriolis
2. write down on a sheet and to calculate the amount
then
Coriolis data do not correspond to reality!

Is this with https://coriolis.edcd.io/ ? Coriolis is currently unmaintained, and is out-of-date with respect to many things.

Atm we don't have the possibility to insert secondary stat rolls that aren't main stats from the upgrade.
But if you use the EDMC to export your ship stats and re-import them in coriolis.edcd.io, the tool will show the correct values at all stats ;)
(only without visibility of secondary rolled attributions)
Highly recommanded procedure for engineer upgrades

example

Thermal +HRP
-40 + 23.9 = -16.1
defence summary
100% - (- 16.1) = 116.1
coriolis - 106.5

The resistances aren't a simple addition, and also there is a difference between resistance and damage (although they are linked, obviously). In this case the damage from thermal sources is calculated as:

1.4 * 0.761

The 1.4 comes from the base armour value of -40% resistance, or 140% damage.

The 0.761 comes from the thermal resistance of the HRP being 23.9%, which equates to 76.1% damage.

Multiply them out and you obtain your damage taken from thermal sources.

There are various threads kicking around about this, and also an online calculator that allows you to plug in your own numbers and see what the resistances will be at https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/301311-Armour-HRP-Mod-Calculator

Thanks for clarifying

One more question:
Can you add to comparison

y7Ez8gb.jpg

"offence summary"+"defence summary"+"movement summary"?

There should be entries for every possible stat that can be altered for each module, so you can just add in the resultant value rather than the primaries and secondaries separately.

The summaries contain a lot of data, including data that they process themselves, so it won't be a simple job to add them to the comparison. Are there any particular stats that you wanted to see here?

I agree, too much data to be added at the same time.

If you start to resist - 6 variables?

Hi there
Don't know if someone has already recognized this: In Coriolis the Type 7 Vessel has wrong resp. missing slots: There are three Class 6 and 5 slots in the game. Not two. Wud be nice if someone can alter this. But is a nice tool.
Regards Rolf

It hasn't been updated since before the Beluga came out. Someone once made a temp site with updated info, stats and the ability to adjust for engineer mods. I've been using it since because the original hasn't been updated in forever.
