Did someone already create an exploration build?
Probably meI’ve seen someone comment that they’ve made one on here, but I don’t remember who.![]()
Thank you! ~72 laden is pretty neat! I didn't expect that from the Corsair
Corsair has unexpectedly good jumprange, rivaling Asp X and Krait Phantom. But considering the low hull mass (lower than Asp X and Phantom!) it's kind of inevitable. Must be made of AnacondiumThank you! ~72 laden is pretty neat! I didn't expect that from the Corsair
Go to https://edsy.org/ and see if the Corsair appears in the list. If not, do a hard refresh: https://help.gavel.io/articles/how-to-do-a-hard-refresh-in-any-browserI have to ask a stupid question - I see no Corsair on EDSY, here's what clicking on any link shows:

Is it only me?
That fixed it, thanks! It's been ages since I had to do that the last time for any page, it completely slipped my mind.Go to https://edsy.org/ and see if the Corsair appears in the list. If not, do a hard refresh: https://help.gavel.io/articles/how-to-do-a-hard-refresh-in-any-browser
The problem happens if you click a link to a specific ship build, but you haven't loaded/refreshed EDSY since the last update adding that ship. Your cached copy of EDSY is complaining that it hasn't heard of no new-fangled 'Corsair'.
I don't think it is useful as an Explorer, even if people did build one in this thread.Did someone already create an exploration build?
People don't like the view from the Maandalay or this for exploring, and I don't get it. Both ships offer a completely clear screen when you look up. Are that many people trying to explore and look for ExoBio samples flying rightside up? I fly all my explorers inverted; no one has see-through legs and feet. The inverted view from this canopy and the Mandalay are equally unsurpassed -- no bars or obstructions at all. Not that I would argue for exploring in this when the Mandalay is better for the job and costs a fraction of the price, but there are only so many ships that offer you a view from the cockpit of nothing but the stars (or ground) above when you look up, and this is one of them.I don't think it is useful as an Explorer, even if people did build one in this thread.
It's supercruise agility and sco efficiency aren't great and the visibility is bad too.
I'll stay with pewpew builds for the time being.
I fly with the nose tilted down, and use the flight controls to maintain my altitude to around 10 metres. 20 in the Mandy as the belly is too close to getting abraded otherwise.look for ExoBio samples flying rightside up?
I've had to learn to increase elevation in the Mandalay before reverting to land, or I smack the big 'ole wings against the ground. They are that ship's one flaw, I think, although I like them for running around on to get a high ground view of that pesky bacterium that I lost track of when I disembarked. The Phantom was always good for that, too, but the drooping wings of the Mandalay are a little easier to hop up on.I fly with the nose tilted down, and use the flight controls to maintain my altitude to around 10 metres. 20 in the Mandy as the belly is too close to getting abraded otherwise.

The belly is ugly, but I'm glad they asked themselves, "Where will the SRV go?" Maybe that's the story with the Corsair beak, too...
Where does the SRV dock in the Corsair?
What do you mean? The only correct name for the corsair is Sam...This is my current build (and the name is temporary until I think of something better).

I’m noticing a lot of round fuselage issues with gimbals. Some of it’s expected like with the side larges and the bottom medium, but even the top mediums seem to cut out when I’m even a bit off center. I had three Concord Cannons across the top that all ended up with different ammo counts after a 15 minute res session.
