Custom billboard resources

I'm really looking forward to creating very detailed and realistic reptile and amphibian houses, pavilions and stand alone exhibitions. The billboard feature has finally made it possible. So many possibilities here, my only wish now is that we had many more exhibit species in game.

Absolutely love those Frog Pictures. But why is the Red Eyed Tree Frog on a Info Board about Poison Frogs. They aren't poisonous as far as I know

Thank you Urufu1997 for the much needed observation, I have changed the sign to something a little more relevant.

@Danny_zoo What programs are you using to create these?

Hello Bearcat9984 the program is called Canva, I have a pro account with them and it runs around 14 or so a month. There is also a free version of it, that it gives you access to thousands of images, while blocking others, and has a limited number of features. I would recommend anyone would try the free version of it, and see if it is what they are after. You can create anything for the game from wall murals to exhibit infographics and everything in between. The frog images are of Frontier's models.

Thank you for the tip @Danny_zoo, I have been looking for something like this. I just played around with it a bit and it is quite easy to get into. Perhaps I will go for the paid version soon.

So here is what I quickly created. The text is copy-pasted, I will probably put more thought into that later.

Of course. Yeah the paid version is well worth it, if you are going to be creating a lot of media for Planet Zoo's billboard feature. You have the choice within the paid version to size the images you create to fit the billboards in Planet Zoo according to their size. It was quite easy getting it to match size wise in Planet Coaster. One thing I'm hoping for is an improvement to the quality of billboard images in Planet Zoo. In PC when you uploaded an image the quality would be seriously compromised as was the color texture. There is already a mod for Planet Zoo limited to the animal signs, and the images are perfect. So if they figured it out, I'm sure Frontier had to as well.

All this stuff is amazing. As a blogger, I've done a lot of work on websites etc ... I'm wondering if it's worth putting in the effort to create a good central site for hosting some of this stuff, iif you guys are happy to upload and share it for other users?

This is the first panel in a series of Interpretive exhibit signs depicting the Heart of Africa experience. A continued narrative is something that has been currently missing in Planet Zoo. The introduction of billboards allows for intricate and detail exhibits that not only showcase the animal habitats but the viewing experience of the visitors that walk thru them. Modern Zoological exhibits are far more than windows into complete ecosystems, they become educational tools that bring visitors and wild places together, in hopes, that a lasting and enduring connection can be found.

The entire exhibit partially depicted in this panel will be showcased in the world of Planet Zoo. I have designed the exhibit with the mindset that some of the species not currently available in the game will one day join, however in the event that they do not, they will be changed around.

This panel is one of 48 media designs that I have created for the Heart of Africa exhibit.

This sign is also part of the exhibit referenced above. This one will be going in the smallest billboard as it is specific to the Cheetah habitat. One thing that Zoos have discovered thru years of progress in exhibit construction is that visitors are engaged at a higher rate with infographic displays when they are colorful, have attractive animal art in them and include interactive features like animal sounds, puzzles and 3d props.

Would have loved Planet Zoo to include a few more variety of billboards closely related to zoo, instead of the genetic ones from Planet Coaster. When they announced the delay of this feature during the base game I truly thought we would be getting unique shapes and zoo props for the billboards. I'm still eternally grateful to the devs for even supplying us with this feature. I do hope that maybe they could add a few more shapes to the billboards that are curved, circular and oval.
