Perhaps this will be better for the release of atmospheric worlds as an interesting way to set them apart and help showcase their beauty by offering players a chance to take cargo on a scenic route and make money. Watching fuel and performing maintainence will be a key gameplay element and design philosophy for when players initially make their craft. Will you have redundant engines in case one gets shot out or you have a steep climb? Will you go all cargo or all weapons? How many fuel pods do you need? Stuff like that.
