In case anyone has dual monitors like me I've created a colored version of the layout for both Hotas X and Xbox controller configs. For me its a lot of help as I can glance on my left monitor for commands with ED in the center.

The zip file includes both standard HotasX/Xbox layouts and HotasX/Xbox SRV layouts, again all based on Crab's setup. Each layout picture is in very high res so it should scale perfectly with anything between 1080p to 4K resolutions. Looks great on the ipad too. Ship and SRV layouts contain both text with the box lines around them and without whichever you prefer. The zip also includes PSD files and fonts I found online so you can edit the look to your liking.

Hi having the same problem here with dead analogue sticks on my 360 pad.

Should these binds work on the Demo? Wanting to have a decent play before i decide on buying game and a hotas.

For anyone else in the same boat the analogue stick binds dont seem to work (apart from headlook) when using the elite dangerous demo. I didn't realise at the time that all the tutorial missions were also on the main game client (doh) which ofc they do work in.

Trying to get back into this game again, and started over with the newest version of these bindings. Works great, but I made a small tweak to add L/R thrusters to the hat switch when the landing gear is deployed. That's always felt more natural to me personally than the rudder buttons on the throttle.

Webshare won't download, don't know if I'm an idiot or it doesn't work in my country. I press download file, choose slowly and it keep processing for more than 10 minutes... could you upload it to other server?

actually I do not plan any updates. Maybe at future, when I will try new ED features.

After updating to 2.1, I had broken controls on x360 controller (B+arrows to focus on panel didn't work, etc)
But I just overwritten the bind file with original and it seems to work correctly again.
For some reason the binds are corrupted after updated, but the original file works

Thank you both to Crab for this wonderful config and to you Mindphaser for this it looks amazing on a small 2nd monitor I got.

I will be using it while I get used to this stick.

Just picked up a Hotas and found this control scheme after the cluster F. that was my own attempt to make one, and while I am having to re-learn how to play this game thus far I am finding this scheme quite intuitive. While this may be an old thread, I just wanted to leave a message of appreciation for the wonderful Crab
