Cutter in in Li Yong-Rui space?

Checked the bug report earlier. They know about the Patreus discount being bugged. Has anyone actually found one in Li space to confirm there's no discount? That's probably worth a report in itself, either because none of the Imp stations have it, and/or because there's no discount. Surely one of those Imperial systems should be qualified to sell it?

Same, gave up for the time being and went to Founders World for the 10%. Once the 15% pops and it will at some point, I'll just rince and repeat for the 15%. Even with the 10% on the discount for the ship and mods, my insurance on a A rated Cutter is currently at 20M with the Nerf on premium beta. I run A rated even as a trader. Yes I make sacrifices doing that, however I can fight with it as well.

Yep, it seems so, its 4% now, when your talking about a 500M_+ship that nerf hurts....
If i've got my sums rights this would cost you money. Cutter costs 200m (near enough) you bought at 10% so 180m. You go to sell that you lose 10% on the hull so bye bye 18m. You then rebuy it at 15% off for 170m, that doesn't cover the 18m you lost from selling the original ship. I suppose if you intend on making a lot of insurance claims you may eventually recoup the cost....
Your correct I will loose at first. However it will drop the rebuy cost down. Not that I plan on dieing much but it does happen.
It also ties into the repair costs aswell. It's a minor gripe but I'm the same way, it's not so much the money you save/lose either way - It's about having a min/max item/collectible.
Yup, planning on doing the same thing here. Bought it at full cost and once they start showing up in Yong-mart I'll sell and rebuy for the 15% discount on rebuy/repairs and just eat the difference as opportunity cost for the ability to start trading in it right now instead of waiting.
Ah i hadn't considered repair costs. It's still gonna take a very long time to recover the 18m odd from selling the 10% discounted hull as you'd only be getting an extra 5% saving each repair bill when you sell and rebuy. If you bought the full price ship then you'd be saving 15% each bill so you'd recover the costs in roughly a third of the time. Sounds great...
However I've just checked my stats and since i've started playing the game since launch i've spent 10m on repairs, dunno if that's low or high but if i saved 15% on that would be 1.5m. So to recover my 18-20m rebuy cost would take roughly 13 years, triple that if i'd sold the 10% discounted ship. So realistically there's no way i'd ever recover the costs though repair bills. If i planned on dying a lot then yeah i'd recover my costs via insurance claims at the 20m odd cost of each claim so that's 13 claims at 20m a pop... 260m So i'm out 260m but look on the bright side i've recovered my 18-20m sell and rebuy costs on the Cutter.....
I'd suggest CMDRs check their current repair bill stats to see if selling and rebuying makes any financial sense for them, you're gonna have to have outrageous repair costs to ever realistically recover the cost of rebuying the Cutter at a discount.

I know it's not LYR space but the 10% discount on imperial ships with Patreus now seems to work. Bought my Cutter there for 188 MCr.

Has anyone found any planetary surface ports with shipyards in LYR space?
The Harm system. -15% LYR territory. Usually no 7A FSD to be found there though.
