I have absolutely no doubt that Universal studios rushed them to get this out the door before JWFK. But I will say this.. this is the most polished example of a rushed game I have ever played. The terrible financial balance paired with shallow and lacking areas, especially in the customization/decoration department is what gives this fact away. But what is there works very well, is for the most part bug free, and polished to mirror finish.
Frontier, despite releasing a, relative to their other games, shallow experience has done a FANTASTIC job with what they were asked to do and the time they were given to do it.
Its not as balanced and rounded as the original JPOG was, but it's even right now the game my 14 year old self wished that I had instead. And long as they level out the incredibly huge income/expense imbalances eventually and make it necessary to actually manage your park and finances throughout all 5 stars beyond just building a few exhibits then entering unlimited cash god-mode after the first hour on ANY island. (Even the 3rd island failed park) Then I can then comfortably say that this is the greatest JP game ever created.
