Dear FDEV, Can we re-balance how ARX are earned

Current balance of 4545 - all of which were free.. 120ish made in the last 24 hours. A little assorted mission running. 300ly worth of exploration.. So, a little trade, a little combat, a little exploration, you know a bit of everything.. Always seems to pay well.
 
The Arx are free. While I think maybe it would be cool if they re-balanced it some, they are free Arx, Fdev can give them out how they see fit. There are ways to ask for free stuff without all of this drama.
 
Yep, one per kill, plus 1 for every million in bounties or bonds. By far the fastest way to max the weekly cap.

I didn't know the exact figures but I agree combat (usually CZs in my case) are the fastest way to hit the cap. Again IME, but gathering & selling exploration data is the second quickest. I don't do much outfitting or mats trading.
 
Apparently they are there to force us into playing games and activities we don't like. Only works on the weak though.
Interestingly enough, I've been doing a lot of material trading lately as needed to upgrade a new ship of mine (see my other thread), and I've earned more Arx in one day doing this than I usually do in an entire week of gameplay. So one might say that Arx can be "harvested" just like materials!

But to my original point, if free Arx are designed to motivate people to play (like loot boxs), then that will only work for a subset of people due to the imbalance that the OP mentions. The group of people crucifying the OP for pointing this out just reinforces the "white knight" stereotype that you hate so much.

I'm having pretty much the same experience. Gathering resources, particularly on a surface, seem to give a lot of arx.
