DECLARATION OF WAR against CCN

at 1 February 3305 CCN started a non-declared war against SEC in TIR (Colonia). They attacked us shameless out of the shadow. The first two days we suffered heavy losses. Then our distress call has been heard by many Commanders and our wings from the bubble arrived. Since we were able to strike successfully back, CCN attacked our home system Kajuku in petty revenge. Kajuku will go to war at 6 February 3305. This is a clear violation of the Jaques accord which says “Home systems are of limits to take-over attempts”.

The rules in detail:

We will not attempt to push another member group from control of their home system.
We will hold a discussion amongst all member groups before voting to add or expel a group. A majority must agree to act.
We will limit PvP to conflict zones, defence, areas pre-announced in open, or pre-arranged combat.
We will maintain Jaques as the ruling faction of Jaques Station. Jaques station is off-limits to conflict.
We will aid others in need if asked, and as our time and resources allow. Humanity must endure.
This as a shameless act of aggression by ignoring agreements.
We call all faction to arms, join the alliance with SEC for pushing the aggressor back. till the minimum influence in their home system Centralis, except or until they surrender.

If you a single commander, you are welcome to join our wings, if you have a full Wing, please receive your strategic and tactical orders from our high command (Teamspeak se-corps.de or Discord)

Thanks to Ian Doncaster, I add some very useful information to understand the situation better.

SEC: Simple Elite Corps, INARA, home system Kajuku, system presence 9, system control 1 (Kajuku), assets 2 (Prince Kajuku's Paradise in Kajuku, Dohler Depot in Tir). A Colonia Expansion Initiative wave 5 faction.

CCN: Colonia Citizen's Network, INARA, home system Centralis, system presence 18, system control 2 (Centralis, Tir), assets 3 (Phoenix Harbour and Damask Rose in Centralis, Bolden's Enterprise in Tir). Factional presence obtained through exceptional circumstances route.

The Tir system at the centre of this conflict is home to multiple sites of strategic regional importance
- the controlling station, Bolden's Enterprise, is home to the region's Human Tech Broker and is one of the largest high-tech economies
- the Engineer Marsha Hicks provides upgrades to a wide range of mining equipment and projectile weapons, attracting a high level of passing traffic
- the Tir Research Labs - a scientific installation - are responsible for monitoring the sustainability of the region and recommending development actions to the Council

Due to coincidences of geography, the Tir system remained difficult for player factions to expand into and under the control of its original NPC faction from its establishment in June 3303 until 29 October 3304 when CCN took control of the Bolden's Enterprise station. On 27 January 3305 the SEC took control of the Dohler Depot secondary outpost - and the unusually high influence boost from winning this war caused them to leapfrog CCN into first place. The influences of CCN and SEC then equalised a few days later, and we have this conflict.

Doesn't this belong in the lore and roleplay forum?
may be, I was not aware of this section.
anyway I have chosen the one where I potentially could hit the most players.
We could need any helping hand against the aggressors.

thx

What is CCN?

Colonia Citizens Network. I joined them early on when I first went out to Colonia. Haven’t been active in a long time tho, been away from Colonia for months.

ALSO (to members of other factions)I’ll be arriving in Colonia in a couple days, my AspX still flies my CCN# IP03A. I’m just stopping through on my way back from Sag A* to see what’s new etc. Dont go tryin to gank me please :p

The first rule of war is that rules of war don't survive past the first encounter. A red cross painted on a vehicle is a target bullseye, not a stay away sign.

What is it good for?
owning the System an the stations, CCN is currently losing its system TIR and the stations in this system. Lucky us, we could mobilize supporting wings after two days of defeat, but we still mobilizing, depending on how many ships the fleet will cout, the attack will turn from defense into an offensive until they surrender and promise to not attack any player fraction in Colonia again.

Remember when there was no real conflict out in Colonia, and it was considered an escape from the strife and war of the bubble. Fee from both the Fed/Imp/Alliance conflicts, and a safe retreat from the thargoids?
Good times.

I imagine that the explorers and pioneers that used to call Colonia home have either moved to one of the other deep-space stations, or succumbed to petty faction in-fighting.
