That was one of the highlights of the night, I still cant believe we all survived!! The trek down to the canyon floor was pretty epic too.

I'm too far away just yet, or there'd have been a chromed Corvette in attendance.
There's plenty of time. Red Squadron's waypoint is only 1500ly from the first muster point, and they have a whole week to get there! Blue Squadron have a bit farther to travel, but its still relatively close.

I'm only now just a little bit outside of the Eta Carina Nebula, and my Vette can only jump around 18ly at a time. Between that, and me working two jobs, which cuts into my playtime, I doubt I'll be running into anyone amytime soon.
I set out because I wanted to return to Sag A, which I first traveled to almost a year ago now. Then once all the alien business started I got to reading about all the unregistered comms beacons, and altered my route to Sag A to include the Hawkins Gap area. My main goal was to return to Sag A in a Corvette, all the while gathering exploration data to close the gap to Elite in exploration.
Since I was going to be passing through the anyway, eventually, I decided that I would offer my assistance in searching some of the systems in that area.
I set out because I wanted to return to Sag A, which I first traveled to almost a year ago now. Then once all the alien business started I got to reading about all the unregistered comms beacons, and altered my route to Sag A to include the Hawkins Gap area. My main goal was to return to Sag A in a Corvette, all the while gathering exploration data to close the gap to Elite in exploration.
Since I was going to be passing through the anyway, eventually, I decided that I would offer my assistance in searching some of the systems in that area.
Well here's a thought... If you're at Eta Carina and heading towards Sag A*, try this for a detour:
Eta CArina to Prungoa EF-A e5 (first Blue Waypoint), then across the Gap if possible to the Circinus Pulsar (Second red waypoint) then on to Sag A*. This maximises your chances of being in a similar region of space to both squadrons, helps us massively because you'll be in the Gap looking at stuff, AND doesn't detour you too much...
Just a thought... failing that, I recommend you go via the Beacon sites because just by scanning the Alpha, Beta and Gamma sites, you'll get 30 million credits...

Next time I'm able to get on I'll look that up and save me a bookmark and start moving that way. I'm not too concerned with detours, just looking to help out if I can.

It just occurred to me, but whenever it is that I get close, I'll try and message someone, see if it would be possible to get into a party chat and maybe coordinate a little better with where I sbould be searching.

Made the first touch down since leaving Muster Point 1.........suddenly feels a lot more lonely out here.

There's still time to tag along... you'll just have to spend a day or two jonking out! Red WP1 and Blue waypoint 1 are the next meeting points - the information you require is on the front page of this thread. Our advise is to get a couple of friend requests sent to the guys who are out there and wing up once you're in the area..
OR join DRX via the group page and join in all of the silliness.... there is no need to lose your allegiance to The Disavowed either - only Inara would be compromised, and we barely use it anyway. Most of the idiocy occurs on Discord.
