The ability to set cosmetic preferences on a global or ship by ship basis would be nice.
For instance being able to select a default decal setup where the front slot is current exploration rank, left is a alliance/mahon logo, and the right is the beta backer patch, and have these automatically be applied when buying a new ship.
Similarity, being able to set green weapons detailing as the global default, but being able to say taipans should use red weapon detailing unless it is a ax tiapan which should use white.
This is mostly an issue with SRV and SLF racks which get swapped in and out a lot which currently seems to not remember the previous customization settings.
I like being able to tell if my slf is actually doing its job, and a weapons detailing color helps a ton. However, most of the time i forget to reset this option when loading the slf rack.
Hopefully, this could be integrated as a simple option/flyout menu or something when fitting a cosmetic. i.e. set current, set global, set variant etc as options similar to when buying modules (exchange vs store).
