So, as many of you know, fighting Thargoids is quite a bit easier if you cold-orbit. That is, you keep your ship's heat below 20% and force them to fire at you manually with no projectile tracking.
I also think I've seen some discussions and some videos about how your thermal signature affects how far away you can be targeted by human vessels.
I've tried a few times to make a stealth ship, with marginal success. But I think it would be much more interesting if I could see all the real time factors about my ship's detection statistics when I'm outfitting it.
I already know that clean tuning on engines and low emissions on power plant is the best way to get those values down but I want to know how my weapons and other modules affect my ship's stealth while I'm outfitting the ship.
