The first Alpha was only released a while ago so give it time. They will add content in small steps but i rather expect optimization first rather then actual new rides and mechanics.
I think frontier mentioned that they will have a new phase every 2 months. Don't quote me on that, but I'm pretty sure they said that so there should be updates soon!
Not all of us are asking for updates. What we really want is more communication from Frontier...
Yep, it's all gone veeeeery quiet since the release. Clearly devs are all hard at work implementing new features and bugfixing (and that's understandable) but it would be nice to get a brief synopsis from the community team as to what's going on. In particular how they've taken the feedback so far about the path and modular building systems, and what (if any) their plans are for them going forward. Part of making the Alpha phase successful is engagement with the community, which encourages us to keep giving feedback. If it feels like said feedback is simply going into a black hole, it'll tail off and start becoming less of a useful tool. Not all of us are asking for updates. You're getting mechanics and new rides as a priority first to test systems since the Alpha is all about getting new features in. Optimization is a last priority but i'd expect a little but not alot till it hit the Beta where the game will get tons of passes concerning stability and such.

+1 Wish they would communicate more too.

We're quite busy with Planet Coaster right now, there's a fair lot of bugs to get fixed and such. [yesnod]

It's not so much about patience, I'm happy to wait for updates to the game. I just think the devs have an opportunity here for real community engagement. Effectively all I'm looking for is someone to come on with a post saying "we've heard what you're saying about the game, the feedback is excellent, and here's what we're thinking about regarding the points raised: [...]". I know that everyone is uber busy, but an hour out of someone's day should be achievable.Thank you Brett, when you get old like I am, you seem to have more patience, than a lot of the younger ones, who seem to want everything at once. Take your time Frontier, I have every faith that you are working hard on this game, to make it the best ever Theme Park Game. [yesnod] [yesnod] [yesnod]
