"Development Level >>"? Figuring out what all these numbers do.

I would offer up to be the guinea pig here but until I can be relatively sure that my Coriolis has had its market reverted properly (providing it hasn't already happened behind the scenes), I'm not going to build another T1 installation and then refinery down on the planet. Currently the station still shows the (mostly) useless triple economy. And outside of making new claims for future development, I don't feel like doing builds again yet (unless to use one of my intermittent claims closer to reliable supply locations as a test ground, but I need a break from hauling right now).
no need for that - i´ll start tomorrow with a ref-hub and then coriolis - guess Friday i got the answer :)

I can confirm that building my space farm next to my colony econ outpost did nothing to the outpost:

{"timestamp":"2025-04-08T22:10:56Z","event":"Docked","StationName":"Herbst Hub","StationType":"Outpost","Taxi":false,"Multicrew":false,"StarSystem":"Synuefai XA-C d14-49","SystemAddress":1694087727483,"MarketID":4219809539,"StationFaction":{"Name":"Azura Corporation"},"StationGovernment":"$government_Corporate;","StationGovernment_Localised":"Corporate","StationServices":["dock","autodock","commodities","contacts","missions","rearm","refuel","repair","engineer","missionsgenerated","facilitator","flightcontroller","stationoperations","powerplay","searchrescue","stationMenu","socialspace","registeringcolonisation"],"StationEconomy":"$economy_Colony;","StationEconomy_Localised":"Colony","StationEconomies":[{"Name":"$economy_Colony;","Name_Localised":"Colony","Proportion":1.0}],"DistFromStarLS":652.429143,"LandingPads":{"Small":3,"Medium":1,"Large":0}}

So it's not just the ground slots!

Can someone confirm for me, building things in the neighboring orbital slot should influence the station right?
Or do we have to build the station last?

Apologies if this is slightly off topic, but - if I relog once I've selected to build a T2+ planetary construction to reset the selection, will I lose the points I spent on it?
EDIT: Wait, I misread the interface - it hasn't deducted my points yet. I'm going to take that as an answer...

I think once you've placed it you can't remove it? Until you've placed it the points will be available if you exit, but I don't know for sure sorry.

I'm reading multiple reports of the same story: after the update, the economical influence is completely broken.
Basically, the stations with Colony economy cannot be converted anymore, under any circumstances.

Maybe it will 'fix' it self as they go through all the stations to remove the economic influence of the planets, maybe these stuck station will get their econs back then!

What do we think, stop building everything, or only stop building the stations?

So I was preparing a refinery planet, shall I finish off all the refinery hubs and then wait for a fix before building the orbital station or just stop 100%?

I built a civilian outpost a month ago,and added a mining outpost (3 weeks ago) and nothing happened. Civilian outpost still 100% colony. So that is working as intended for your space farm.
I believe the space farm and mining outpost do not have the "weight" to affect an outpost on their own.
A hub has influence 0.45 but weight 3. Space farm has weight 1.

None of this is of course explained anywhere, its just data reported by commanders who experimented weeks ago.

Well that's a bit unfortunate... I thought it should give me a 0.3 inf looking at the OP...

I was actually trying to get it to trigger the water world planetary influence but I was too late lol

There is another option, could be that now the influence takes time to roll in, just like with the missions, so maybe after the weekly tick.

New stations don't have missions available straight away, it takes awhile (usually a weekly tick) for them to roll in.
Maybe FDEv updated the economies influence to do the same.

The way I see it--don't build things that affect economies of stations; keep the slots for them free! Do build stations (so they're ready-to-go for economy adjustments once things are working again) and auxiliary stuff to boost system stats (like comm, government and security installations, military stuff etc). If you have that Coriolis or Orbis planned, now is the time to build it, then add the Refinery hubs or Bio-research settlements once things have settled down.

I am waiting for some kind of update (maybe tomorrow?) that will make civilian outposts take influence from the agri influences around them. I have a couple that need fixing.
