I really hope this quietens down the negative comments and makes people realise how much work you chaps are putting into this game.

This is really great news and thanks for the timely update.

At least now we know what the Dev team have been upto :rolleyes:
 
That's good news, and pokes tongue at everyone who said I couldn't read english when I suggested new players can buy into wings beta!
 
Impressive pace for significant updates! One and a half month after initial release we'll see the first big update with new features, and one month after that a second big update! This is very exciting, I'm happy to have beta privileges so I'll be able to test these new features a bit earlier :)
 
I've not been involved in a crowd funded development before so perhaps this is common place, but I can't congratulate FD enough on the way they have involved, and continue to involve, their user base. It's daft to feel emotionally connected to a video game, but I'm about to turn 42 and this game is exceptionally special.
 
V1.1 will also have a significant increase in the maximum distance for the route planner. We’re currently looking at extending this to 1,000 light years!

Great news on the route planner, hopefully moving away from calculating everything to just calculating a route to your target system :)

Also - A way to measure the distance between two systems would really help, traveling 3,000ly + only to discover the system you were aiming for is 40ly + from any other systems is... frustrating! :D
Basically the ability to select two systems (System A - System B) = 47.6ly

nice..hopefully Autopilot would be added for 1.1 - could really use it

They've said pretty much from the start that the game will not have an autopilot. I agree and think that the game really doesn't need one and if one was introduced one day I think it would be about as popular as the docking computer is currently in the game.
 
@Michael : 1000 ly plot route will incluse star scoopable type selection of course for exploration or this functionnality will not be very efficient.

Is there a fix planned for the kill reset bug when you're offered an alternate contract? I looked in the 1.05 notes but did not see anything pertaining to this.

Thanks for the update - With the change in route plotting distance, will there also be a bookmark/waypoint system added to the galactic map...???
