probably landing on airles rockky moons and worlds at ground stations first i expect maybe some surface roaming and mining on those?
This is beyond the range of any ship. Currently, if the planned route is beyond range of current fuel, the map shows a dashed line, since it's not guaranteed the last reachable star will be suitable for scooping, not to mention that not everyone have fuel scoops, the route planner should always calculate the last jump before going out of fuel to end on a system with refueling facilities (oupost or station).
I agree. I am not really interested in beta testing. Its just that people usually pay me to beta test their products. I find the idea that a company is going to ask me to pay them for the "option" of testing their product to be rather amusing....
can we not fix the old errors before talking about expansions I was 180 k down from a trade bug(cargo paid for but none received) raised a ticket not a bloody peep from the devs shocking since there running cash competitions might be construed that someone is tampering with the servers . I might have to go public with my concerns

Hi Micheal,great to see all the updates,
but I recently read a post by yourself (I might be wrong). Where you stated roughly that you where working hard on get missions to a level where they work as intended.(parafrasing, hope i got it right.
Now I was wondering if you where referring to some of the bugfixes we see in missions. Or adding, changing an improving mission content and diversity. I cannot imagine the federal and empire naval progression really match the vision.( the dead ends therein come to mind)
As a solo old school.player, wings don't really excited me, but I'm desperate to learn how the universe and my place in it as cmdr, will evolve, and offer meaningful progression.,

Lucky you. Still at least it amused you, so you got something from it.
The new testing will be separate from your current game, Michael didn't answer/see my question of if it would be a separate launcher or login
Michael said it won't affect your current game so basically yes.
Well, your reaction indicates that it is good business practice, as everyone without beta access wants to get their hands on beta content ASAP. Fact that someone pays you for testing their very marginally known software is just situation in reverse - they want you to do something, while in this case you want FD to give beta access to you.
It is all about scarcity of resources.
They are working on bug fixes too. It has been mentioned many times.
As far as I know Michael said that it is very possible it will be separate download and launcher, just to keep stable/retail universe away from potential bugs.

Did you really didn't see the part where he say it's optional and the next week the beta start everybody will get the update?
