It does not. I recently tried it with another player. While their ship (Anaconda) mass-locked my Clipper, no mass-lock was applied the other way round.

You want a thing. Someone has the ability to provide you with the thing.
Now, in your experience being a member of the developed western world, do you think that someone will GIVE you the thing..
Or find a way to SELL you the thing?

I just cant wait till there is a better grouping system, like missions together and stuff and staying together easily.

The latter...unless you pledged enough to gain access to all future expansions for free.

N00b question here, is the 'UPGRADE' button on the launcher the 'update' button?
When I press this button, it goes into 'Downloading Manifest' then 'Sync Files' then a popup box appears 'Update failed for file ".....EDLaunch\Products\FORC-FDEV-D-1001\Win32\data.ovx" (validation error)'
So since the failure mentions update, I assume the upgrade and update are the same? btw, any ideas on the failure?

Fantastic news on the coming months.......But most of all ..... The Mac version already being worked on for all those Mac users that pledged..

Do you have the latest version of the launcher? You can get the latest one from the ED site or even via the old launcher I think if you know where to look.

When I press the UPGRADE button, I now have an additional popup, 'Unhandled Exception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object' whatever that means. I really don't want to wipe the folder and download another 9GB, any ideas?
I have always assumed that only the lighter vessel suffers the mass lock effect. I may be wrong though.
Can't say that I'm looking forward to paying for them to flesh out the skeleton that is v1.04. I'm not talking about extra limbs, or something like that. But I would not be surprised if we are expected to pay for wings - or the actual MP part of the game etc.

The _expansions_ are major additions for later on. Those will have to be bought, but the core game is getting developed and refined for years to come. The game will be a whole different, and much more beautiful and complete creature in a years time, and without requiring you to put in another cent.
The Clipper is currently bugged and does not mass-lock other ships.

Because it's bizarre and overblown. There is no conspiracy at work. I feel there are some really strange attitudes at work.
I get that some people felt strongly about the off-line mode they requested during the KS, but treating it as some horrible betrayal is utterly over the top.
