Noooooo! Had to submit another support ticket, since they moved me back to wp5 I've not been able to log on. Just get the message "couldn't retrieve commander data".

Think something must have gone wrong when they moved me.

Never going to catch you guys at this rate :(
Tough goings there CMDR :/

This exploding SRV bug is really starting to wear thin. And the elaborate solution to replacing it really isn't solid enough to rely upon.

I wish Frontier would get their stuff together and put their effort where their mouth is. Otherwise Ed is going to meet quite a few disgruntled explorers at the finishing line, who made it despite FD's best efforts.

If you'll excuse me, I'm going to replot my route after the latest server hiccup.

Just be glad you have a ship at Beagle Point, look what happened to StarGazer on one of my trips. I kept seeing sparks, and not from inside the cockpit, so I popped outside, and saw this...

Had a thought.

So, realising I will be away on holiday 25th to 5th march, which means missing a week. Damn.

I'm hoping that the timescales of waypoints will be evident so I can spend at least part of the week beforehand jumping forward, so I won't be too far back. I know that we dont want to release waypoint coords, but any chance we can see the pace? Is. When we are expected at each waypoint?

The dates get tweaked occasionally depending on how the pace of the main fleet is progressing, live streamer scheduling, and a couple of other factors.. but at the moment for 25th Feb - 5th Mar we're penciled it to pass through waypoints 13 to 17.

Some important people (and me) met up in an obscure place by a very bright star and somehow managed to almost hit each other (cough)

Left to right (I think): Erimus, Barney_G and Dr Kaii

I'm resplendent in gold at the bottom.

Thanks Erimus. All I would need is a general idea of how many waypoints would be passed, so to know how far to work forward. So info like that is fine.

Is it too late to join? I'm brand new to ED and the forums but was coincidentally on my way exploring anyway, in a Cobra III. I'm not quite at NGC 6357 yet but I'm confident I can hit The Hollow Veil by tomorrow or at worst the day after (I'm in the Singapore timezone so ahead of the bulk of the fleet).

I don't have the jump range to hit Beagle Point as I understand it and I don't yet know what synthesis is or how to do it for "Jumponium" but I'll do some research.

Exploring has been a lonely business so far, which is fun in its own right, but I'd like the opportunity to be part of history in my own small way if that's OK?

I managed to make it, and I came from the bubble just two days ago, so I'd say go ahead pal.

As an aside, anyone reached the The Zheng He Plateau yet? I'm having some trouble figuring out how to find it from orbit.

Was gone ask if all Anaconda's who like to go on vertical launches to all try an get into one instance for the launch away from this waypoint. (Yes I know the masslock will be insane) and only start splitting up once were Atleast 2km up.
So we basically have a giant Rocket pod of launching Anaconda's on camera.

Edit: yes this might get a little dangerous if we don't coordinate it well but that's why it's just an idea.

Only problem could be that I might now be in the bubble at the time if frontier doesn't sendt me back in time for launch. (SRV bug)

I would be up for this:) Would want to film it from the ground aswell though so will have to do it on 2 wps I guess;)

I just stumbled on a barbecue gone horribly wrong. One canister of bertrandite, two canisters of animal meat, and the wreck of an srv.

That explains the last transmission I intercepted from those co-ordinates. I believe it was along the lines of:

"Hey guys, watch this!"

Z...

I was driving aroud waypoint 6 and noone there. I know the meet is tomorrow but I thought I might bump into at least on CMDR. I realised that I was on the wrong moon! For those who need it tho 1A in the waypoint system has Vanadium, Germanium, Niobuim and Yttrium.
