Distanter Worlds?

Hush now. what would you know?

Oh for certain I will! I might just paint my ship in beige though, simply to point out the contrasts between my ship and all the beautiful colorful worlds we'll be seeing along the way!!!

We need a Beige Camo skin pack!

We definitely have to reach out to both the xbox and ps4 folks. if anyone has contacts, spread the word. Are we going to post this on reddit?

I was thinking of getting a Type 10... We'll see how the module slots line up and what the route will be.

That is a fair point. Could we get a commercial license from Frontier?

Those are beautiful Qohen!!

So one of the things I like to do is record keeping.

I mapped Darwin's Legacy's craters and got the DWE members to name them: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=255484

I produced a diagram based on the fleet roster:

By the way, CMDR Uber Falcon, If you have sprites of new ships, I'd love to have them. :p

If we are going to do registration in the future,
Can I ask that we take down some specific particulars so we have statistics to do more cool stuff like this?

I'm asking not just for Ship type, but
  • Ship Name
  • Ship Name style
  • Ship ID
  • Ship Paint Job
  • Ship Decals
  • Ship Engine and Weapon detail
  • ship Kit.

For Holo-Me, I would love if we could get photos of each CMDR (in a standardized fashion).

I know it's asking for a lot for this to be "required" but if we were to have this, we could not only create images like the above but potentially with the right art asset have them customized to show all those detailing.

Oh dear... I think I may have to name one of those mountains... Because, Golden Phallus and all...

I'm so in. I've already been to Beagle Point but it was a very lonely trip. As I live in New Zealand I'm hoping there will be enought DWII explorers in my time zone to create a small local community that can wing up on the trip. cheers Laz.

I'm between Sydney and Manila (month by month) so will be close enough to NZ time zone often enough.

Any details on how those of us that are Xbox and PS4, will be able to participate?

Maybe, we can pray cross play may be a thing by then.

In reality, and more likely, though, there will be PS4 and XB fleets that fly simultaneously. Same expedition, just different instancing. Pretty sure there was an XB group last time.

This is a pic of my Cobra, The Ranger WR3-4C, before ship names made it into the game...

...so, I think we're covered well enough. :)

I would really love to see a way for SRV's to be printer (or something). Some of the best times I can remember were the SRV shenanigans. Cliff jumps, racing, using anacondas as ramps...

I can see that the SRV hunting games with SLF's may be a nice little activity. And seeing as SLF's are printable, we could even do an SLF PvP league, the furthest PvP league from Sol in the galaxy (only for those interested in a little pew pew on the side!)

Actually, I think it's about time I finally start mapping the new camera controls and learning to use it for videos. Collectively, there will be some truly epic footage (photo and video) form an expedition like this.

I'm in. I do run a business with very odd hours, but would like to give this a go, especially if there are others in my time zone (in Australia too).

You'd be amazed how many are in Aus. There was a pretty good global distribution last time, I always found at least 50 other CMDR's online no matter when I played.

All I want. I'm not aiming to break any records.

I am seriously considering taking my Exploreagle. Has around a 30ly jump range with both scanners, and SRV, and fuel scoop. The enhanced thrusters make it a real treat to fly planetside...fast and nimble, but papeer hull and no shields is pretty unforgiving.

My Eagle, The Scout WR3-2E is one of my favorite ships to pilot, used for surface reconnaissance and exploration. https://coriolis.edcd.io/outfit/eag...loBhAWEoUwIYHMA28QgIwV0A=&bn=The Scout WR3-2E

Looks even better now too with the darker ship kit accessories to better match the camo paint and ship name and ID.

You're making me want to take my adder.......Small Worlds was a blast, and i'd love to do something big in a small ship again....

Not 100% sure of what goes on with this but I'm down for 2018!

Started playing on PS4, loved it, decided to build a computer and VR setup for it. Been 2 weeks now and I threw a dart at the galaxy and trekked out, been bit by the exploring bug. Are there ship/jump range requirements for this?

I'm definitely in!

Having caught the exploration bug with CCE, I signed up with the upcoming Beagle Point Expedition. I've also been looking forward to DWE 2 / 3304 for a long time, so I'm off to engineer my Asp for some serious exploration!

Very excited for this news!

There were several kiwi's (myself included) on DWE, so you won't be alone.
