I've been thinking for a while that it would be extremely funny to have the greater road runner in the same dlc as the coyote, but I have a silly sense of humor.

Yeah... i mean
Emu goes with wallaby
Rhea goes with mara
Coyote goes with roadrunner
But other than for cartoon nostalgia and reference i rather get the mara first this time around, BUT i would love a roadrunner not gonna lie, can't hate on such cool bird.
Well what can say other than:
The Americas have so many amazing birds such as ducks, teals, turkeys, seriemas, burrowing owls, spoonbills, several tropical penguins, rheas, curassows, penelopes, ibises, roadrunners, flamingos, mergansers and screamers, that feels diabolical that it took this long to receive an proper american bird.
More and more i believe that the last DLC should be an avian pack. Birds are the biggest gap in the roster and if they would only keep adding clones they will continue to be. Unfortunally there are still a lot of penguins and flamingo species left lol And don't get me started on the chicken breeds... and a bunch of swans...
I'm super happy we are getting the rhea, and like it or not the american flamingo was an iconic species we had to get at some point, but other than the rockhopper penguin i really just want unique looking birds or new bird types from now on.
An avian pack would be amazing. There would be plenty of options without having to add any flying animations. Storks, ducks, geese, pheasants, more cranes,...
EDIT: and pelicans of course! How could I forget about them??

Haven't they published on the Tuesday before Easter for the most part?
I really don't think that is going to happen considering these aren't actual dire wolves but just grey wolves with 20 genes added to make them bigger.
So, what's the plan if there's no announcement tomorrow?

We have literally gotten an announcement on every day of the week besides the weekend the most common is a tuesday followed by monday I believe.
Also we have figured out that the dlc is almost guaranteed to release on april 15th as this is the tuesday before easter and with the standard animal pack announcement being about 7-8 days from release the days the most likely time to get a trailer is the monday or tuesday before.

They actual used dire wolf DNA, at least thats was Foresst Galante said, but also they plan on making a artificial womb to create more pure dire wolves. With that said it will probably be a LONG TIME, before we get those, but who knows.
