With the knowledge of the Saki I am going to redo the pack concept I did a few hours ago

Very similar color and looks. It can go either way. I'm leaning to coyote only because it was always brought up. Culpeo is almost never talked about. Plus, the culpeo has a darker tail; the keyart has a lighter colored tail for the most part
I rewatched it too, a little bit before he says the date he seens to say very fastly "coyote".
With that said it's a british saying something very fast so i might have misheard it. (It's not culpeo anyway)

He says key art which does sound a little like a bad pronunciation of coyote which isnt even close to how the brisitsh pronounce it but he never says coyote

"kai-oh-tee / kai-yoh-tee" which is how we pronounce it in australia and im assuming most of britan to.
I think it's because coyote is originally a Mesoamerican word (I forget which civilization though). So, that's why it's pronounced similarly (that's my theory, at least)
I feel like the American Black Bear is more suited for the next anniversary animal.
I still think its a coyote and the key art is just at a weird angle. But the tail is throwing me with a stripe straight down it and we can't really tell it's length due to how it's being held....what if it's a South America Grey Fox (Chilla)

Face shape and leg length looks like Culpeo to me. However, the coloring is much closer to Coyote. Since the angles are often weird (especially on cover art!) I'm going to say its probably a Coyote. Golden Jackal has a small chance if and only if it turns out its not an American animal pack.
