Having played with null exhibits for a long while I can tell you that there's more needed than making them null. It needs a greater rework than that. You can only go so far.All they need to do is make exhibit boxes null so we can customize them how we please I will be happy.
Atleast I can have the exhibit box of my dreams in my dreams.Having played with null exhibits for a long while I can tell you that there's more needed than making them null. It needs a greater rework than that. You can only go so far.
Again, I think it's a brilliant system and a way of working that fits the animals they're trying to represent greatly; but as you mentioned it has so much untapped potential and that's mostly because of how big and clunky they are. I'm sure that if they had to chance to introduce it now, it would be much less so; but alas![]()
I lived about 40 minutes away growing up and visited the park/zoo quite a few times, both for school field trips and during summer vacations. It's a fairly small and unremarkable zoo in most ways but the desert house is by far its strongest asset.Ok weird example but hear me out, Hershey Park (yes, the candy company) Is an amusement park you can visit in the states. They actually have a zoo inside of it I was able to visit once, called Zoo America. In Zoo America is the “Great Southwest” which actually has this display of birds that has stuck out to me for 7 years!
It is a display that contains desert tortoises, roadrunners, gambels quail, and burrowing owls. It was such a cute display of a mixed species habitat! I would LOVE to be able to make this in Planet Zoo. Here are some of my own photos from when I visited in 2018:
It was great, maybe that’s why I still remember it so well! I also still remember I think it had a swamp area, some elk I loved, and thick billed parrots.I lived about 40 minutes away growing up and visited the park/zoo quite a few times, both for school field trips and during summer vacations. If this one pack gives us the Andean Condor and American Flamingo then I will actually think it’s possible to recreate two of my local Zoos being Stone Zoo and Franklin Park Zoo. Obviously some animals I could swap out or leave out and it wouldn’t be too bad of a recreation.I know is not a vulture. But hear me out. If there is one thing i would happily accept instead of a NWM is flying bird. And imagine if said vulture is the andean condor? I would die of joy.
As someone who has watched this species for several years and has seen one in that exact pose several times, yes. I am really sure. Are all of you really sure it's the Saki?
Nach is going to be caribbean flamingo. Chilean fits the desert vibe but is basically the exact same as the greater flamingo. It would be an even worst clone than the malayan tapir. At least the caribbean one has a pretty color difference. As time passes, I grow more and more concerned about the flamingo.
Honestly, it could be any of the four New World species... Sure, it's more likely to be the American or the Chilean, but what if it's the James Flamingo?
Also, I really hope it's the American/Cuban species. The Chilean flamingo would be a slight disappointment for me.
Chilean is still different enough from greater, but it's (in my opinion) far less interesting in terms of appearance when compared with the Cuban species. Also, Cuban would give North America its first (and only) bird, while Chilean would just give South America two birds leaving NA devoid of avian life
They’re all cool imo I’m down for any of them. I know it’s probably an American flamingo species but hypothetically I would even love a lesser flamingo to pair with the greater. They’re all coolAs time passes, I grow more and more concerned about the flamingo.

While im not totally opposed to a wild camelid, they would be a pretty dissapointing animal to round out the pack
Plus, the Americam flamingo is the only 1 people have really asked for. Anything else would be weirdAs time passes, I grow more and more concerned about the flamingo.

Yeah, I mean the coyote, as nice as it is, is already being put down by people. The bighorn too, and even the flamingo (a shame really). But if we got another camelid, I feel like this pack would get a lot more hate than it already does, comparable to the Arid and Barnyard packsWhile im not totally opposed to a wild camelid, they would be a pretty dissapointing animal to round out the pack
This would be so cute and fun to make, I'd love all of these. Would definitely love quail. Not in this pack though, not if they take up a coati spot. If it was coati + quail I'd dig it.Ok weird example but hear me out, Hershey Park (yes, the candy company) Is an amusement park you can visit in the states. Bad quality photos I know, but this habitat has stuck out to me so much! It’s genuinely one of the real world examples that makes me think quails, burrowing owls, and roadrunners, can all work in Planet Zoo! They all spend their time on the ground, maybe one perch enrichment or two could help.
You are 100% right, but looking at their choices quite possibleWhile im not totally opposed to a wild camelid, they would be a pretty dissapointing animal to round out the pack
Yeah, in a different world this would a neat addition to an americas/latam pack. You are 100% right, but looking at their choices quite possible
If we got the mara and then the guanaco instead of the bighorn sheep that would be a wild turnaround for Patagonia.Yeah, in a different world this would a neat addition to an americas/latam pack.
But as is the pack is already pretty heavy on the "clones" for me.
Yessssssss. I would love more gorgeous snakes! And lizards too! I know I've been asking for a Horned Lizard for years, but the Basilisk, Caimen Lizard, Tegu, or one of the Gecko species would all be winners in my bookView attachment 423460View attachment 423462View attachment 423463View attachment 423465
The things I would do to get those gorgeous snakes... if (probably not) but IF any of those Snakes in the upcoming Pack, someone needs to check on me (Mainly if It's the Green Anaconda)
