I mean, I'd also take Pink Fairy Armadillo, those things are just a weird delight, but yeah other typical armadillos probably aren't gonna feel like much value.
It's not. I can see how it looks like that, but it's not.
Unless this is going to end up as a regular scenery pack (bighorn, coyote, rhea, flamingo, and a condor in the WTE). Funny thing is I can see them doing that - making the world's most underwhelming DLC after 6 months and relying on it including the game's only aviary bird to make a profit. It'd be like Twilight 2.0 except worse.
They did already say it was an animal pack, so I don't think they can get away with then making it a scenery pack. Like, it's one thing to slightly alter the setup and remove one animal; but removing 3 and still calling it an animal pack when it is basically a scenery pack setup is pretty much false advertisement at that point
All this forum discussion is making me more and more scared... I'm probably going to end up hating this pack if they don't include the coati and if instead we get two the following as our final animals:
• Guanaco/vicuna. Why. Like, I get it, they're the wild ancestors of llamas and alpacas, but since we already have both domestic species the wild ones feel kind of unnecessary.
• wapiti. We already have the red deer which is kinda similar, and NA already has a big cervid species (the moose); I'd much rather get a smaller species, like the White-Tailed Deer.
• Bobcat. On its own it's not that bad, but if it ends up taking a spot from the coati I'll be furious
• American black bear. Same as the bobcat: not bad on its own, but if there's no coati and instead we get this I'll be mad.
• Armadillos of any kind - especially giant armadillo. With any other species at least I can excuse them for being common zoo animals, but giant armadillo? Come on.

If I had to rank all of the potential options for the last 2 spots:
- Brazilian Porcupine. Extremely unlikely, but this would be perfect for tropical houses and to have a wider variety of porcupines in the game.
- Coatimundi. Not my personal favourite but it would be nice to get for my House of Tropics and it’s iconic for SA.
- A third monkey. Preferably the Howler, Spider or Golden Tamarin. Only one I really wouldn’t care for that much would be the the squirrel monkey. We’ve gotten 2 primates in a pack before who knows.
- Patagonian Mara. Adorable, it just ranks a bit lower because I would probably mix it in with other species so there’s not a ton of new ways to build for it unless I put it in the petting zoo which is also an option.
- Bobcat. I get not a lot want it but I think NA deserves a small cat just as much as SA does and the bobcat would fit in well with the other NA critters we have.
- American Black Bear. It’s nice that we would have all the bears, I just don’t like building for bears because I never have any good ideas for their enclosures so I wouldn’t use this one that much.
Yes. Unfortunally i think it is a strong possibility because this is frontier we are dealing with. The mara is just right there for us but of course they would go with a llama/alpaca clone.

If we do get either of these, I will not buy the pack.
As much as I want the rhea, I am so against the idea of another camelid (especially if we get THAT over the coati) that I will straight-up refuse to purchase the DLC
I like them much more than llama and alpaca but we already got those two mentioned and those at least gives the game some variety since they can have multiple color types, which guanaco/vicunia doesn't. So even it's a cool animal to me, I think Fronts aware people would be angry for another "llama" so quickly after another. However it would be a quick clone to do for the small studio they are now.
Although it's kinda a thing to think of that if they went with something unique for the rest of the roster, they would add it to the eastereggs rather than the sheep, wouldn't they?
I mean flamingo is kinda 'clone' as well but people were screaming for it for so long so they wanted to hype around it, same for monkey, they wanted to hype them up, for rhea as a silhuette too. Then the rest of the roster might be something people didn't want that much and will be easy fillers. And guanaco/vicunia WOULD be an easy filler.

Yea I’d prefer another capuchin than any of the other clones being discussed…. Although I don’t know why a squirrel monkey couldn’t work on the capuchin rig instead
I'm a very patient and calm person but if it was to happen, I would be really REALLY mad. Tbh I didn't even think of it as a possibility until now.
Also, I'm trying to understand why they decided to put the Spectacled Bear in the Zookeeper Pack if they knew an American pack was coming next. Did they save the spot for the ABB this time and didn't want to put 2 bears in the same pack or is there just nothing to read here?
I’m happy the Spectacled Bear was there to free up a spot in this pack…. Unfortunately they used two of them on the Coyote and bighorn but…. Whatever. I hope ABB is anniversary. Call me crazy but I really don’t think it’s in this pack and I hope it isn’t either
Patagonian Mara is probably my most wanted for one of the last two slots. It has a good range in Southern parts of South America that are pretty empty presently. Its adorable representing an unique build compared to the Capybara. It almost looks like a lagomorph which I want desperately! Its almost ubiquitous in zoos. Lastly it would almost certainly mix with the Rhea that we know we are already getting.
Coati has a decent chance. Its different than the raccoon which is apart of its family and pretty common in zoos! Plus its cute and would add to South or Central American representation. And I believe it climbs which would be fun for builders. I don't think we even have many climbing carnivorans... Actually, the Coati is one of the few carnivorans left everyone is universally behind.
Bush Dog I would like. I don't think its likely to get two canids in one pack, though. I will say the Bush Dog is about as unique of a canid as it gets. It looks almost as much like a Bear or a Mustelid as it does a canid! It would also add a smaller carnivoran to the Amazonian and the very southernmost Central American areas.
Elk or White-tailed Deer is a niche I want filled personally. We have North American deer yes, but we don't have a "typical" North American Deer. I think Elk is more likely.
Wild Turkey would be awesome! Adds a bird to a ton of North America... And pretty culturally significant.
Second Armadillo would be cool just because I like variety in animals already present. I'd hope for Screaming Hairy or Pink Fairy because they look very different to the one in game already.
Ocelot it would be nice to have a New World small cat. Even Bobcat would be ok.

I feel like I’m the only one who wouldn’t mind them lol idk maybe after waiting so long I’ve become soft towards the clones. At least it would offer something new compared to the other 2 SA camelids that being not domesticated and colourful.
I'm more open to a wild South American camelid than I was before... Like I said I don't have too much care what the last two slots are and one of these would be much better than a crocodilian or even a tapir in my opinion!
