I didn't complain for not talking about Planet Zoo for pc. I complain that the new livestreams which were supposed to cover all games devote too little time to Planet Zoo in general. They only talked about console as they announced, but they've been telling people to watch the stream and the only information took 30 seconds. They should put a Tweet instead of making people to waste their time.

I get there isn’t much to say, but it really feels like no one wants to talk about PZ at all. Like they don’t want to be there at all, and it feels more like an obligation than being excited about something.
Doing a PZ segment in under two minutes could have been saved for a post online.
Like I said, I understand there isn’t much to say. But they really could have just done a post online and saved the time lol.
I've never posted bird I'd want in PlanetZoo, since I see a "selfish 8 animals" thread with birds I am here for it

Common Jay or Blue Jay (here bcs my personal fav)
Wild Pigeon or Eurasian collared dove
Ringnecked Pheasant
Great spotted Woodpecker
Common kingfisher

They haven't really teased anything in any of these streams though with the exception of that one stream where they let us know there was a new PZ DLC coming "later this year" and they hinted at the megalodon. But the JWE DLC was just around the corner (within weeks, not another month).
We already pretty much know there won't be a new DLC for PZ PC until August at this point... So it wouldn't be a good time to tease something. There's just nothing to say right now. Nothing new, anyway.
After this, and considering the console DLC release date? I'm thinking we see a PlanCo 2 announcement during the week of the 22nd with it being a primary focus of the July livestream (probably on the 31st). Piggybacking on that they can briefly remind people about the console DLC bundle and maybe tease the next DLC for Planet Zoo PC (in a fashion similar to the JWE2 tease; assuming we have an outsource_lqa update before then and if we don't please forget I said this LOL).
That would honestly work really nicely given the overlap in player bases. And would give everything room to breathe while getting people talking, etc.
Unless they don’t use the stream to advertise the pack, but that seems unlikely given they used it last time.
Yeah having such a short time for planet zoo really is a waste of everyone's time, it's not like a special trailer was made or anything just a picture of the bundle art. Their own website news section even covered more information about the bundle than the stream did.
Which is probably true lol. I mean they booted the old PZ community peeps and now the other people have to cover the games they probably know next to nothing about.
Which i really cant blame them for, if i had to sit there and cover the news for F1 Manager i would probably rather unenthusiastic aswell.
And to be fair i think they also just follow the schedule they receive.
But they introduced the new community manager, so maybe the next stream will have a little more to it
Exactly. They could talk about the current franchise challenges, or bugs they are working on, remind about the issue tracker, tell a bit about the animals of the new bundles, put a trailer, remind there's a merchandising store, tell the date of the release of the new bundle... Even if there's nothing really new, but at least showing some interest in the game.
It feels almost weirdly hostile doesn’t it? I’m wondering if there is internal stuff going on, like maybe people at Frontier dislike PZ? I know I’m assuming a lot, there is also little to say about the game. But in 100% honesty, PZ is doing so well it can get a bit more fanfare then less than two minutes.

There are surely better choices for European bird roster (like eurasian eagle-owl or common kestrel and such) but I simply went for my personal favourite only and limited them for 8.They always consider the 5 butterflies as 1. They did that for pc too. Why? Who knows. Maybe the same who knows why the Nile monitor doesn't dive yet.
Eh idk seems right to me. The butterflies are for all intends and puposes one animal.
If they promoted it as 17 it could easily be seen as overselling it, and people would probably be dissapointed that a third of the advertised animals are butterfly variatns
