DLC18 discussion and predictions

Alright back to hibernating then

Something about SteamDB that we don't usually discuss is when the files for the previous DLC are updated. I don't really know if these updates really mean anything, but maybe they can give us an idea of what features/bugs are being modified by Frontier.

For example, conservation and tropical DLC have been updated. Maybe Frontier is doing something with brachiation? Barnyard was updated.

What do you think guys?

Barnyard is probably routine bug fixes as I'm sure there are still plenty to do with the new animals and petting animations. Who knows maybe the highland cow was resized to please the crowd that demanded it. I agree with the brachiation being updated for conservation and tropical, let's hope that ties in with a new monkey getting brachiation animations.

These also update each time the steam rating from reviews is changed. For example if someone writes a review that changes the rating from 70% positive to 71% positive reviews, then that file automatically updates.

Silvery gibbon, you heard it here first folks

Monkey-Paw wish scenario 5/5:
If the finale pack was a scenery pack, but was purely 2 sets of scenery, what would be the best outcome?

For motifs and statues, you need a minimum of 1 base game species for each set, but can utilise up to 8 existing species per set, including your answers from one previous Monkey-Paw Wish scenario.
garden scenery set: consisting of 120 pieces of new foliage. 8 new hedge statues, cow, badger, american bison, wisent, reindeer, binturong, white rhino, brolga.

backstage scenery set: 120 pieces of backstage equipment new meshes, ropes, zoo keeping equipment, buttons, doors, bedding and car props. 8 new signs including hippo, komodo dragon, dingo, sealion, king penguin, llama, water buffalo, american black bear

"Urban Jungle" Scenery Set: 150 pieces dedicated to the settings around your zoo. Parking lots, cars/trucks, facades for taller buildings and shops, as well as "city park" focused foliage and scenery pieces. Also includes a new "sidewalk" path, new editable billboard shapes/sizes, and an array of random clutter.

"Zookeeper" Scenery Set: 200+ pieces to improve your zoos general appearance. Additional mesh wall pieces, hot wire, faux mud walls/banks, modular concrete pool pieces, various backstage props, 3 new interactive educational pieces, a mesh barrier set, new zoo signs with editable text, editable gift shop pieces (a la billboards - but in gift shop form) and "updated" zoo sign art for 10 base game/early DLC animals.

Honestly feeling too lazy to map this all out but if done right? This could be really awesome. JUST MAKE EVERYTHING AS FLEXICOLOR AS POSSIBLE!

You know what highly requested animal is capable of brachiation? The Geoffroy's Spider Monkey, that's what!

Hayo Zookeepers,

Prepare to sail throughout South-east Asia in the Planet Zoo: Gibbon pack, arriving Never-ember 30th on PC alongside our Free Update 1.69. Immerse yourself in relaxing tropical paradises by bringing these 8 tropical primates to your park.

We start our trip on the Eastern side of the mainland, in northern Vietnam for a game of tag with cheeky Northern White-cheeked Gibbons, going to the south of Laos to get style advice from the charming Pileated Gibbon & swing through the canopy with the bold Yellow-cheeked Gibbon. We continue south to Sumatra to race with the athletic Agile Gibbon, sail East to seek knowledge from the wise Bornean White-bearded Gibbon and head South to the bustling island of Java to share a meal with the grizzled Silvery Gibbon. Traveling South, then West along the Sumatran coast, we stay at the mysterious Mentawai islands, to be serenaded by the tenor male Kloss's Gibbons in the morning, and soprano females in the evening. Finally wrapping up our trip, we cruise North, dock, and hike deep into the jungles of Myanmar, to raise eyebrows with the friendly Eastern Hoolock Gibbon.

Bernie Goodwin is back again, and he wants monkey-business, in a another Planet Zoo Career Scenario. Reminiscent of your time in Madagascar, your task is to build a Javan primate paradise from the ground up, out of a palm oil plantation. You can still harvest the palm trees to get money, but with a new disincentive, if you make money from palm oil, there's a fee each year, increasing over time. It's a gibbon that you'll have a great time in this scenario!

Unironically this would be my 3rd favorite planet zoo pack of all time. Thanks for the unnecessary primates, but hell yeah this is a getter!

My child named "Silvery Gibbon" finally gets added, Bornean White-Bearded Gibbon too :D

My next Zoo Primate that i think will be added is Hamadryas. This is going to be like the Tasmanian Devil, I'm going to love this baboon do.

For South America, I think they hear your wants, but is getting the wrong message and may think Spider Monkey and Howler Monkey= Squirrel.
Though I will have 0 sadness in my heart and will love this baby until the end of times, I think most people just joined the hype train because of the need and want for a South American Primate and I think Squirrel Monkey is at heart, which will be perfect with all its animations, children zoo/south American/and more themed zoo areas. Its gonna be spectacular. I already have a Capuchin Monkey exhibit in my Childrens Area [Thanks Bronx Zoo!] But when Squirrel Monkey comes idk man...

There's me trying to translate that language for 15 minutes on every online translator there is then I suddenly realise it's planco. Must be my fault for only using custom signs these days instead of reading the default signs lol.
