Why? They've been very careful to specify in the past when streams are console-related, which they didn't do this time. And they're continuing to insist there's more announcements than what was related to console earlier today, not to mention we've actually seen movement on the lqa, etc.

I'd be shocked if there's genuinely nothing here.

OK I am going to have to wait 2 hours for the stream so I want ask a favor, could you guys come up with the most ridiculous (good or bad) final dlc and update concept you got and then try to explain why it's likely, you don't have to be serious about explaining it's likely hood this is just for fun. I will start

The fact that they're leaning so hard into the "Planet Zoo news" aspect of things pretty much confirms that they'll reveal something PC-related today. Whether it's a teaser or a trailer is TBD but they'll be telling us something new. And I find it very hard to believe that there's anything more to say about console at the moment...

Between the physical release and the new console DLC packs? They've hit saturation, I think.

It's just a matter of what information we get about the PC bit but the confidence with which they've highlighted the news really makes me think we'll be getting some new details. What that is, I'm not really sure though, obviously...

Sounds like pure speculation. Speculation that the final DLC would be in conjunction with an established "brand" such as SDZ or London Zoo has been a thing as far back as 2020, based on the idea that PC did the Ghostbusters collab. I haven't seen any reason to think there's any truth to it besides wishful thinking.

There's no official statement anyone from frontier is visiting San Diego let alone host the frontier unlocked stream there. You must have heard rumors that the final dlc stream might take place at the zoo.

I don't wanna get my hopes up just for a single image of a baboon's butt poking out of some grass.
At that point I'd much rather get nothing at all. So yeah, I'm either hoping for a real trailer, or nothing... And at this point, I'm much more inclined to believe that nothing is coming.

I'd all be for a teaser this week but the idea of having a baboon's butt plastered over every social media is too funny.

Its likely because they are all in the top ~30 of the wishlist. Except the Bat but exhibit animals are always kind of random... The free update includes a lot of color variants. And a scenario editor. And customizable exhibits! All likely.
