Guys, where is the hype?

No hype, but a lot of calm curiosity.

At least that's me, based on previous DLCs and the teaser art I expect nothing groundbreaking from this DLC.
The worst and best scenarios just go from a clone elephant (nightmare) to exhibits back in business with a cobra or a gecko (heaven)

Hard to be hyped when there's a strong chance of there being a lot of redundant subspecies

I think alot of people that were not expecting a DLC so soon did not even watch the Frontier Unlocked. And since Frontier did not post the teaser after that on their socials like usual, I have a feeling many people are not even aware that today should be an announcement, lol.

Well yes same, not really hyped up to prevent myself from being disappointed again. Im expecting the blackbuck to show up, which would be nice. But i'm not expecting any of my most wanted animals (pelican, secretary bird, walrus, treeroo, pretty pink birds etc.)

My most wanted animal is impossible in an Indian pack...
Yet there are many animals from the area that could be cool additions. I hope the Blackbuck shows up (or even Nilgai).

I’m super hype!! I’ve wanted an India pack for ages, and there are so many heavy hitter animals to choose from. I’m an ungulate fan too, so give me a Nilgai, Chital, Blackbuck, Gaur, Sambar, Barasingha, even a Bharal and I’m a happy girl. The possibility of a grey langur is exciting, even a fishing cat. Demoiselle crane or Monal or even a squirrel would blow my mind!

Buuuut I’m genuinely spooked after the Americas pack. I loved it and the “clones” were so beautifully done with incredible feather textures and fur and horn details (look at the bighorn) but the coati was a devastating miss by the team. A pack full of clones - albeit beautiful - makes me hesitant to start celebrating and a little fearful of a pack that looks like:

• Ratel
• Lion tailed macaque
• Sri Lankan elephant
• Mugger crocodile
• Indian wolf/jackal
• Tibetan gazelle
• Rock python
