Just passing by to put this thread back at the top because it feels weird to see people commenting on the possibility of having DLC n°21 on the other thread when we're only getting the 19th in like 2weeks and a half.
And to make this comment a little constructive I'm going to give my opinion about the previous comment 😂

I like those pack ideas. However, apart from the India pack and the Coastal pack, I don't think that the themes would sell very well to a wide audience. Maybe Oriental pack could be okay with another name? Idk.
I think you're the first person that I see not putting the Blackbuck AND a monkey in your india pack roster. I respect that but that's shocking 😅

I vastly prefer the Nilgai to the Blackbuck. I find it much more interesting and less boring in comparison. As for the monkey, I'm not really a huge fan of primates other than lemurs, tiny monkeys, lorises, galagos/bushbabies, basically any kind of primates that doesn't look or act too much like humans is fine to me. Monkeys and apes that act and/or look too much like humans kind of creep me out.

If this incoming dlc is called New World, the the next one should appropriately be called old world.
1. Capercaille: there’s your bird and a European rep
2. Gelada: there’s your monkey and africa rep
3. blackbuck: there’s your india rep as well as highly requested ungulate
4. Yak: Asian rep
5. Honey badger: africa all the way to India
6. Golden jackal: europe all the way to India
7 can go to anywhere, africa rainforest, SEA, Middle East where ever.
I’d like to give Australia the Perentie, internet doesn’t count australia as old world or new world

I'd replace the jackal with a secretary bird instead. The reason is because of its immense popularity in and out of the forums as well as Africa and Asia having a ton of canines already, from the 3 foxes to the dhole and the African wild dog

IF we assume that DLC 20 is the last DLC (I hope it isn't!), AND assuming the unrevealed species in DLC 19 include the coati and mara, there are some must-have animals that we are sorely lacking - namely, at least 2 new world monkeys, another tropical Aus/PNG species, one or more of crane/ibis/egret/spoonbill etc, a pelican
Other high demand species, but maybe not essential, would include a turkey, echidna, rabbit/hare, another crocodile.

Again IF it's the final DLC, we could likely assume a bigger pack as a bit of a farewell celebration. Let's say it'll be 8 species, and 4 exhibit species. Incorporating all that as well as an oddball personal preference or 2, here's my hopes:

Celebration Pack
Habitat Species
1. Golden Lion Tamarin
2. Black Howler Monkey
3. Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo
4. Great White Pelican
5. Ocelot
6. Short-Beaked Echidna
7. Nile Crocodile
8. Coconut Crab

Exhibit Species
1. Vinegaroon
2. Tuatara
3. Parson's Chameleon
4. African Giant Millipede

HUUEEUAGH?
What are you doing here Tim Allen? Are you DIYing a zoo? 😅💚

All very good points :) looks like Frontier have stopped adding exhibit animals to DLCs which is really sad, there is definitely a chameleon shaped hole in all our zoos at least.

So I was thinking it's probably gonna be Africa and what would be the potential roster.

1. Serval - the dog/cat lock for the pack. After DLC19 getting the coyote I can see it being a cat this time and the Serval would be the most obvious choice for that.
2. Secretary Bird - Just because it's so high on the wishlist and has been requested for a long time, I'm gonna guess this would be the high effort animal of this pack. Even though I would want the Great White Pelican or Hornbill aswell, that would be less likely.
3. Grey Crowned Crane - Which is why for the second bird it would be an easier one like a second crane. Another potential hit would be something like Guinea Fowl, but a second crane seems likelier in my eyes.
4. Honey Badger/Mongoose/Rock Hyrax - Smaller carnivorian. Mongoose could appeal as a cute animal, Rock Hyrax has the memes, Honey Badger seems like the most requested and easy decision. All three seem to have decent changes I think.
5. African Monkey - I'm not so sure on which one, could also be depending on the exact theme. Mantled Guereza? Gelada? Colobus Monkey? A more cloney one would be expected.
6. & 7. Africa definitely means antilopes & ungulates. Two of these spots would be for that which they could go different ways. I would prefer they go for one smaller one (Duiker) and one bigger one (Greater Kudu, Giant Eland), but I could also see more of what we already have with the Impala.
8. Nile Crocodile - A reptile could be in the cards aswell, which would definitely be the Nile crocodile. If they are going for a reptile it would probably replace the monkey or second bird.

That's my thoughts. If I could choose myself I would just do an all birds Africa pack with the secretary bird, great white pelican, southern hornbill, guinea fowl, shoebill, white-face whistling duck & grey crowned crane, but hey how realistic would that really be 🤡 :ROFLMAO:

My guess for update 1.20 after 1.19 (whenever in April) would or could be (hopefully) about flying and swimming ones. Flying birds like parrots and birds of prey with aviary ideas so they don't get loose by flying. Small fish and crustaceans for Exhibit.

5. African Monkey - I'm not so sure on which one, could also be depending on the exact theme. Mantled Guereza? Gelada? Colobus Monkey? A more cloney one would be expected.
I'd like the green vervet monkey. It's prolific across the continent, very common in UK zoos, and interesting in its coat colouration. It is attractive-looking, unlike (IMO) the other two medium sized monkeys we have so far, the macaque and the proboscis.

And how about De Brazza Monkey? They are so weird looking, like a old wise man. Honestly there are many good options for African Monkey. I would not mind any of the mentioned ones.

And Madagascar is lacking it's reptiles and amphibian selection.

As of 2012 it has over 200 extant mammal species, including over 100 species of lemurs, about 300 species of birds, more than 260 species of reptiles, and at least 266 species of amphibians.

What has Planet Zoo given us ... a handful of Lemurs and 1 cat and if you want to include nearby Aldabra we have their tortoise.

We currently only have 1 bat species for the walkthroughs .. maybe add a Madagascar Bat or two to the mix.
And for the small exhibits a tenrec or two.

Could we potentially see a "central Asia" pack? I feel like there's plenty of Asian animals that could be put in a pack.

Alternatively I can see safari, rainforest, polar, birds, world tour, woodlands, educational all be pack ideas. Idk I'm one of those people that choose to believe support won't end until frontier says "she's done folks"
