DLC20 Discussion (maybe, but why not?)

I am super doubtful of that given the lack of any SteamDB activity but really, really want to be wrong. It feels like a literal coin toss all things considered.

Guessing it'll be a recap of the Americas Animal Pack and a reveal of the release date for the next console DLC.

I started to believe the console pair bundle theory and I absolutely doubt this was the last DLC now. So I'm not worried, even if they don't mention anything wednesday, which is likely, as this time we are not all shouting "OMG, last pack" and they don't have to manage us.

And the coati situation... I dunno. I start to doubt that even Frontier is that tone deaf. If they are, I start to worry again, but with a little bit of pace between this weird pack and such.. I dunno. I am in a wait and see mode.
I feel coati being a launch species for PZ2 (could go either way between base game or deluxe) is the most likely scenario at this point, but who knows.

I also feel like PZ2 might be a bit further out than people are expecting at this point. If Jurassic World Evolution 3 doesn't launch until 2026 like some recent rumors suggested, I can't see PZ2 launching in 2026 as well. They also might not want to have to wind down PlanCo2's support so soon after launching it, especially since it hasn't really started its DLC cycle.

They don’t have to stop supporting PC2 when PZ2 comes out that’s what’s happening rn with PZ1 and PC2

the latest JWE3 could possibly release without actively lying to investors would be march next year unless we are wrong and a different cms is releasing in that timeframe instead.

also planet zoo and planet coaster 2 have had a full year of dual support so there is no reason to assume that planet zoo 2 will end planet coaster 2.

They've had to tone down both the frequency and depth of PZ support to make it work though. Could they provide full support to two Planet games at once?
As @SanRazo pointed out, they most certainly can if they want to.

Let's not forget that Frontier was always working on multiple games throughout these past few years, many more than just their CMS games. Given that they're now seem to entirely focus on Elite and CMS games, I'd assume there's more resources left now for their CMS games (even with the layoffs).

At the end of the day we still have an unannounced CMS game coming out next year; it still hasn't been delayed, so even if it's not PZ2 they will have 3 CMS games running at the same time if PC2 and JWE3 still keep going next year (and atm I don't think either of those two wouldn't be around next year).

thats only because pc2 isnt paying any bills and they need us if pc2 keeps being a disapointment then no way they will continue putting resources when pz2 comes out which might not do as good as they are expecting
