DLCs if support continues throughout 2023...! What are your 6 more DLCs?

Okay so here are my predictions in the case that we would get 6 more DLC's

So I think that the Wishlist will be leading in the choice of new animals and DLC themes. I tried to puzzle with it and came to the conclusion that with 6 more DLC's an aviary pack will be very unlikely cause that would take the place of some much needed mammals IMO.

Fall 2022: Grasslands Animal Pack
So because 4 out of the top 5 animals on the wishlist now live in grasslands, I think a grasslands DLC will be very likely now. One weak point could be that the Tasmanian Devil is more commonly found in forests... but I think Frontier could put it just in the grasslands category for now
Another problem that we already encounter is that a secretary bird and grey crowned bird could very well fit into this pack, I think that more than 1 ground dwelling bird is too much and for that the Emu just takes that spot.

alternatives:
  • Secretary Bird
  • Grey Crowned Crane
  • Common Wombat
  • Red Necked Wallaby
  • Red Deer
  • Common Eland
  • Greater Kudu
  • Serval

Winter 2022: Islands DLC
So with most of the top 5 of the wishlist gone, its time to get rid of nr 8 10 and 11. And because these animals fit better into a scenary pack than the next DLC.
Dia2.JPG

alternatives:
  • Little Blue Penguin
  • Japanese Serow
  • Coquerels Sifaka
  • Bamboo Lemur
  • Tanuki
  • Northern Island Brown Kiwi

Spring 2023: Rainforests Animal Pack
So it's time to introduce a new animation with the Sloth, also they could update the brachiation animation for the Spider Monkey. Again an issue could be that it would be very Amazonian based.

Dia3.JPG

Alternatives:
  • South American Coati
  • Golden Lion Tamarin
  • Bush Dog
  • Fishing Cat
  • Fossa
  • Muntjac
  • Lar Gibbon
  • Mantled Guereza

Summer 2023: Highlands Pack
So this pack is just to fill up some gaps in the roster and to give people one last time some beautifull scenary. I tried to include as much geographically variance as possible. One issue could be that for non animal lovers the Wolverine and Rock Hyrax could be too similar at first sight.
Dia4.JPG

Alternatives:
  • Gelada
  • Markhor
  • Pallas Cat
  • Persian Leopard
  • Klipspringer
  • Alpine Marmot

Fall 2023: Desert Animal Pack
So a lot of the animals on the wishlist between position 15 and 20 are desert based, so it just makes sense that this would be the last normal DLC. Again this DLC is very middle eastern based, but that only makes sense as it contains the largest area of desert in the world.

Alternatives:
  • Sandcat
  • Bobcat
  • Gerenuk
  • Banded Mongoose
  • Somali Wild Donkey

Winter 2023: Community Animal Pack
So I hope Planet Zoo will finish of with a bang with an XL animal pack. I picked 17 habitat animals from all continents + 3 much wanted exhibit animals. I tried to include species that are high on the wishlist, are common in zoos and are distinct enough for the game.
Dia6.JPG

Species that just didn't make it:
  • Secretary Bird (again this could replace the grey crowned crane)
  • Shoebill ( as above)
  • Walrus
  • West Indian Manatee ( I don't think fully aquatic animals will make it into planet zoo)
  • Red Deer (could make it in but I think other species are just more likely)
  • Saiga ( too uncommon in zoos)
  • Gelada (could make in Highlands DLC but I think it is too similar to the Hamadryas Baboon which comes right after)
  • Sifaka (would require a full new animation and I don't think that is fitting into a 20 animal pack)

That is amazing! You put ALOT of effort into this! Great job!

Great packs. I just would switch grasslands with rainforests. Grasslands makes more sense for spring in my opinion ane rainforests with the spider monkey would bring us soon a new monkey for the new climbing frame. The only animal I miss in all your packs and your alternatives is the Echidna but nevertheless I would surely buy all your packs 🙂

Yess could definately swap grasslands and rainforest, but that would go against my theory of frontier picking top picks from the wishlist now first. (capybara, amur leopard, przewalski horse).
And totally I would love to include the Enchidna, should have definately at least mentioned it. I'm struggeling who I would take it in return for it though.

You could just swap tasmanian devil with wombat.
Yes could definately make sense. But in a pack with 4 animals to have 2 small carnivores (fossa + TD) would be a bit of an overkill to me, although it could happen for sure.
