Do you ever use blueprints by other people from the workshop?

Explain this one to me: How is having to look for workarounds one of the game's strong points? Doesn't make any sense. It's like saying having you figure out out how to eat soup with only a fork was one of the restaurants strong points. [wacky]

I don't use blueprints in my parks. I'm fed up with PC and don't play it anymore.

You should join the Rollercoaster Tycoon World Crew...they'd love you on that site [happy]

I'm the worlds worst at coasters, so I use the blueprints all the time, I have some amazing stuff thanks to the community, without these this game would have been so much different for me. As it is, this is the best game I've ever had!

That's interesting. I find I don;t have the patience to build detailed buildings, so I love being able to combine scenery and buildings from the workshop in various ways, then edit them slightly to remove or add something here and there instead of having to build from scratch. But unless I just want to stick a coaster down quickly to earn some early profits, I always build coasters myself. I find that to be a lot more fun and satisfying to go back and look at the rides I've built. It's cool that the workshop provides tons of stuff to satisfy all types of players!

I oftently use blueprints from workshop... I'm so bad in building.

Maybe it's not you, but the tools. I think with better tools you could have better results. Everything takes so much time to do, after a while it becomes just annoying. Who wants to invest hour after hour in one tiny patch of their park. I don't because it's not fun. But I know I could build good structures so the workshop is not really the solution for me.

There are a lot of community members that gladly put a lot of hours into creating and building things for tiny patches in parks, and not only that, but also entire parks, and they are enjoying it. :D

I never use blueprint, because what I like to do in this game is building.

But I will use it when building coasters maybe, because I'm not really at making realistic coaster.

Well, I do use blueprints most of the time, because I am not very good at creating buildings as good as some that have been uploaded for others use. There is a great lot of talent amongst this community and I take my hat off to those who like to share their creations for any one to use. I always give credit and rate any item I subscribe to and if I decide to upload a park I have created that contains other people blueprints. I also give credit for using them.

I really enjoy Planet Coaster and if it wasn't for the community creating so many wonderful items, my parks would look pretty dismal to say the least. So a big thank you to all those who have created stuff for others to share and enjoy. [up]

I haven't started looking at the workshop items yet. I probably will at some point, but not to use them directly in my own parks. I'd most likely download them and look at how they're built, to get ideas.
