Does your joy stick slide around on your desk? ... (read this)

Ok here's a life hack for this (or any other suction issue like a porous tile shower): Take some packing tape (the wide clear tape) and put small squares big enough to cover the area that you want the suction cups to be on. Ensure that you pull out all bubbles while you put the tape on. That allows the suction cups to adhere to the tape without having any of the porous materials allowing air into the vacuum. This will keep your suction cups in place.

I need help!!!
My Saitek x52 Pro joystick doesnt stay upright, it leans a bit to the front making my ship go down when it should be stationary
Anyone know any fixes?

I don't use those crappy suction cups at all. I used 3m grey tape to keep 1/4 steel plates on the bottom of my stick and throttle , both powder painted black, (these are for some nice added weight) then I put the non slide kitchen pad material on that. My stud doesn't budge. Works great for me

the best is to have a dedicated desk for the HOTAS and then use adhesive Velcro and matching Fur for the Velcro on both the desk and the bottom of the HOTAS

I consider the movement a safety measure so that I dont break the stick. In other words, if you're pushing hard enough to move it, you're pushing too hard and if it's not allowed to slide, you risk putting too much pressure on the stick.
