Dream patch notes 1.4|| Would this patch notes make the game better?

There are much simpler ways (and much more effective too) to improve the game than building a new game. Even the first point shows how unrealistic the suggestion is.

Removing instances implies going to a server-oriented game (Instead of P2P), meaning either losing money or requiring a monthly fee. Making such a change after the release is pretty much impossible.

The rest of the suggestions is a lot in the same line, changing the game mechanics completely rather than complementing what exists already. Very irrealistic.

There are still a few good ideas.

I Would like the Forum to have a system where people are TAGGED as moaners and wingers. We can put people on ignore already, but if you saw a post made by somebody and (forum fame points based) it stated that they were a moaner or serial winger people could easily just avoid reading the doom and gloom I WANT THIS CHANGING NOW posts..

Please in next update please bring out something on the forum where people can give others positive or negative post points..

I wonder if the tolls will continue to troll if they have a tag called "Ignore me I'm an Idiot" as a tag?

I voted "Yes, They will improve the game" because I think that if they existed they would improve the game. However I think that the vast majority of them are not feasible so sadly we will not see them. But definitely some nice thoughts.

Good to see people trying to positively engage with the community and development.

First up, some good points, but this is ELITE not EVE. I know you would love to be in charge or a great corporation owning hundreds of worlds, but this is ELITE, the description of the game is that you are A PILOT of A STARSHIP on an adventure in real scale galaxy. Please go and play EVE or wait for Star Citizen (although that won't have these options either) and stop shouting at a Hurrican hoping it'll change course. It won't

two games can share some ideas and still be different, this post is about making the universe have more interactivity, not in one big step, but in very few small steps

in short, explain why you don't like those ideas, why you think they are bad, what would be better instead, and stop sharing your misunderstood fear about this whole "not eve"

It has been said many times by people who have played EVE that they do not want this game to become the new EVE. I personally do not want this game to turn into EVE Mk II. There are some good ideas, but then again as its clearly been stated before this game is about a single pilot, a single ship and a massive universe to explore. Where is it in EDs description anywhere that you will be able to influence whole fleets of ships? you may be able to influence sectors of space and small to large factions but you cannot and never will be able to take command of battle fleets. If you are in group mode then you and fellow pilots will be able to do things together, but still the game is about single players.

The whole idea about this game and EVE being two different games just does not get into the heads of people who wish to change this game into another EVE style game.

Elite is called Elite because you strive to become the best, and that does not mean you need the best ship or 200 guild members behind you. Its a solo game shared by thousands.

Too many people too resistant to change. I like a lot of the OPs ideas, and I think a lot of them are dumb, but at least this was a constructive post, which makes it better than 90% of the other posts currently happening on this forum.

funnily enough, the ppl who don't want it to become Eve, we could list the comparisons and i mean, it would go on for days, the problem is, that anything you could think of that would add meaningful content to a game situated in space, Eve has had years to mull over these aspects and add mechanics that make their space experience more fuller.

elite didn't have multiplayer, so from the get go we are already into the NOT ELITE territory, the game has been marketed as multiplayer, with that comes expectations based on previous experience.

without typing out a whole postnaught, the main fact is, no matter what they decide to do to elite EVERY step they make will some how be attributed to those that came before and comparisons will be drawn.

but they couldn't turn this game into eve as much as eve could turn into elite. you can share mechanics in games and have them not automatically morph into another game.

there are already similarities between two games that take place in space, the lines ppl are drawing are simply nonsense.
