Dump the medicine.

Salvation is clearly our best bet right now of pushing back the thargoids, we now know he has a lot of intel and resources and the will to do things none of the supowerpowers or Aegis had the guts to do. The question however is, if this prototype weapon manages to take down an entire fleet, then how will the thargoids react to this? Will this be the de facto declaration of war? Will they start to massively harvest minerals to fund their war fleets just like they did during their war with the guardians? Guess only time will tell, but in this case, i want to be on the side that has the big gun and that is without a doubt Salvation.

Treat the cause, not the symptom.
Thargoids are the cause. Doesn't matter, if we collect stuff for Salvation or not - they still will be agressors. They were centuries ago, they are agressors now. They are the first who hyperdicted a human pilot - that's the obvious act of agression. Also, they're completely different from humans, so there will be infinite conflict by the default.
We shouldn't care about traitor's messages like "let's do pilgrimage to them" or "let's destroy Salvation things". Humanity is under fire here and now, we should arm ourselves to the teeth - until our station will be under good protection. Weapon is the true shield.

Saboteurs are traitors and should be eliminated!
For the humanity! (and humanoids, if they're exist)

One question does the item count as basic medicines in other stations and can be sold there instead of dumped or is it a special cargo created for this mission. If it's sellable everywhere you could scatter the stuff far and wide 😉

It is marketed as medicine, and I highly doubt it has a different commodity ID in the back end.

Another thing is if you can change the cargo IDs on a whim it makes you wonder, maybe we are all shipping drugs and weapons across the cosmos to all corners of human space. Worse yet it could be alien control devices or infected parasitical stuffs 😱

If people like Salvation can do it do we really know what were transporting? 😉

I shipped 500t of actual basic medicines to Cornsar, and 0t of the hidden weapon parts. If I receive Salvation's mission reward later, we'll know for sure that the commodity IDs are the same. ;) I doubt it though.
The commodity IDs are the same in the journal - basicmedicines as usual.

However, in a lot of the journal entries, there's this extra parameter:
Code:
"statusFlags": [
                    "Movable megaship"
                ],
which doesn't appear for the Heart of Taurus' other goods, and doesn't appear on basicmedicines anywhere else.

(Fair chance therefore that like the "mined" status flag it doesn't survive piracy, carrier laundering, etc.)

Some of those cargo transportation missions where you're paid most of a million credits for transporting cargo with a nominal value of ~100,000 credits to the next system can't possibly be entirely legitimate.

You think they're hiding 5G chips in the meds??? :p

Doubt it happens in Colonia. Name a single major player/power in Colonia.

Well, it was worth a try, but I'm glad that it didn't fry all the humans in the system. I am curious about what limitations this weapon will have - I'm assuming that Frontier aren't going to use this too often, unless they want to replace AX gameplay with what is effectively an automatically completing Trade CG.

Good to see Aegis being as useful as ever with their "observation teams", anyway.

Perhaps they recognise the weapon though, but don't want the truth to come out.
