I'm sure people have realised but 're your OP, water and liquid oxygen can be found in the CG system itself.
Damn your eyes, we're explorers!
Every time I go out, I make sure it's to a system I'ved not been to before

As I said, I have amended the OP. Just bother yourself to read the section about stage 2. You will find a link to the spreadsheet there.
They're just rare.Just glanced through the spreadsheet and noticed there is *exactly one* known bauxite hotspot in the table. Do you or the Rock Rats know, are hotspots for the common minerals just extremely rare, or was this (and the Indite hotspot near Omega) likely hand-placed for the purpose of helping the CG? (I suppose that should be an and/or - they could be both rare, and hand placed. But what I'm really curious about is if they occur *at all* in other locations.)

afaik, the scaling of the progress bar in the mission board is acurate, so you could measure itI'm wondering how long this CG will last. It was almost at Tier 9 when I logged out last night. Of course, tier 11 is enormous, so it's hard to estimate it.
The horizontal bar in the "select a CG" screen is accurate - and even with Frontier now publishing the top tier level, is useful for figuring out where e.g. Tier 10 might be.afaik, the scaling of the progress bar in the mission board is acurate, so you could measure it
ah, ok, thx for clarification! The horizontal bar in the "select a CG" screen is accurate - and even with Frontier now publishing the top tier level, is useful for figuring out where e.g. Tier 10 might be.
The vertical bar in the CG details screen is less accurate, as there's a minimum height for each tier checkbox, so the early tiers appear to all be the same size, and the later tiers are slightly shorter than they should be as a result.
The top 10 commanders have hauled in more than 9000 tons each. What kind of rig do you have fly to check in this much tonnage? My little ‘conda does 138 tons with a fully loaded refinery. I can get this up to 360 tons if I radically reconfigure my ship. But that is still a lot of trips.

Cutter and T-9 can 512+ both. But that is still a lot of mining

My T10 can haul 256 (266 with full refinery) and takes me around 6 hours play-time to mine around 1000 tons of bauxite. It amazes me how folk can get 9 times that amount in a day, truly epic!
