[DW3] Distant Worlds 3 Website & Roster Signups

I am going to have to think carefully about which ship to bring, so I'll sign up when I have that clear in my head:
Cobra MkV. Definite - love flying this and great for exobiology. Full tank range ~64 LY iirc.
Diamondback Explorer. Another small ship that is great fun to fly but is not as fast as the Cobra MkV, though mine outjumps it. Full tank jump range 80.5LY iirc but might be less. This is a must for the farthest reaches of the Galactic Arms. Whilst my Mandalay can outjump even this and is SCO-stabilised, The DBX can land almost anywhere so I prefer it for exobio. Also, I am not sure that I absolutely need the Mandalay's extra range, even in the farthest reaches.
Krait MkII. My medium mining ship; also a great multirole ship.
Python. My favourite multirole ship.
Adder. I have one already prepared to go to take part in the ferrying event.
Sidewinder. Another ship I prepared after reading the first DW3 post. Reading the events pages on the website, I might only use it at the start, or for some local exobio.
Federal Corvette. If I want a large hauler, then I prefer this to the T9 etc, for its handling and it's also a good miner.
Anaconda. Does everything but would not want it to be my main ship for five months - that's why I used a Corvette on the Aronnax Expedition. Served me very well in the Shoulder of Orion event and I regard it as my fleet flagship; it is not lightly dismissed.
Looking forward to the events beforehand as well as the expedition but real life might get in the way - whatever I can do will be a bonus.

How does the correlation to console commanders who had to change their name when transfering to PC work for terms of matching our legacy IDs?
Had to change my game ID to Numenor3791 when I moved, but below was my ID on DW2.

Only 6 ships? I'm bringing my whole fleet. Will have to split it across two of the official fleet carriers.
This sounds amazing.
Just to be clear on those ship / cmdr roles - I added a few additionals ships and not quite shure what some of the roles actually mean. Just chose them because they sound cool (until I understand better). Hope that's not a problem, if yes, I can remove them of course.
Unexplained roles are self-explanatory; the others are tied to the projects and events. All are mainly role-play, no role will prevent you from doing anything.

Sounds amazing, but I don't have the stamina and too much bubble FOMO to commit to such a long endeavour. And I don't have enough time and opportunity to play to send an alt.

Pardon my ignorance, but is there something I'm missing on the website (I completed Distant Worlds 2 on the PS4, where I too had a slightly different name)?
My DW2 roster ID was #7289, and my PS4 gamertag/CMDR name was 'Jayshum132'.
