Yep, exact same here. Had to bounce it off the missus first, and since she ploped £200 up for it (my birthday prezzie) it made sense to wait till she green-lit it.

Yes Mad Mike. I swithered too long before I ordered one, but it is good for developers and those people who were so sure of the purchase they hit the order button on a base-of-the-spine reflex action. I'm happy for them. Honest.

I dunno. I expect that there was a definite peak as orders placed in the first 6 hours, that then fell of quite dramatically as time went on. They say they got 16k orders in the first 24 hours, and I bet the bulk of that was in the first 6 hours.

I have been itching to place an order on DK2, but I'm unsure of the timeline/roadmap for the full release. So question is what's the current estimate for releasing the Consumer Version, as an impending upgrade of CPU/GPU etc. may precipitate a DK2 order.
