Have a look at my previous benchmarks for my gtx 680, more or less the same as a 770

DK2 is not good enough to justify the upgrade in your situation.
You're much better off sticking to your current gpu until CV comes out, at which point you're certain you'll get a faster card for your money.

Besides 770 is a really good card. You might shave off some shadows and AO but you'll play it just fine on most other settings on high.

Immersion Breaking Supercruise lines?

Hey Guys - I just picked up the Eagle in game, and it seems like the supercruise lines start 'outside of the ship', and then go 'inside' when they hit the metal frame of the cockpit, then go outside again.. Do others think this way? Should I submit a ticket for this?

Also - bonus question - 970 SLI - has anyone gotten DSR to work on 970/980s in SLI with the rift? I get a weird flickering and it either kicks out or keeps two menus up in view ..

GTX770 to GTX970 for DK2

I took tha plunge and upgraded, there is still a great resale value on 770s, so it reduces cost of upgrade and my experience has been massive moving to a 970 -

Pretty much all settings on high and tracking is fluid, no stutter in stations or asteroids fields.

770 had to be put on low with, low draw distance which meant asteroids would just suddenly apeear.

I am sure with improved DK2 SDK and ED optimisations this will get better and 770 still a great card.

You always have time to test your 770 and then eBay and get a 970 if you feel the need.

blurry and 'ripply' vision...

Hi everyone.
I got dk2 all working...........no judders..... but everything is blurry?

reading here? what is this quality bar to adjust?
is this the one in elite options..or the adjustment bar in sdk software?

and, what is that one for in skd? nothing in the instructions. is looks like adjustments linked to the lens movement in-out.
of course I have 'fiddled 'with both.. still the same results.... blurry and 'ripply' vision...

Christina - try the 3D separation setting to see if that makes a difference to you

Also, it may sound stupid, but try adjusting how high up/down the DK2 is on your face.. I find the immediate placement I put it on my face puts my eyes in a blurrier part of the lense.. adjust it up/down on my head a little bit and it's clearer..

In Game the DK2 quality slider makes a huge difference to text. Also make sure the res is set to 1080p in game

Make sure you use the advanced settings in the DK2 config tool to set your IPD correctly, it makes a difference.

Helped me a bit.

Not SLI but I've run it at 1440p using DSR on my single 980.
Not had the issues you mention.

Meh and we CF users can go play something else until its fixed... if it ever will.
