Can't wait, any news as to when this will be available, why does the apple apps get released first?

Dunno annoying isn't it, everytime too, despite Android selling ~7 units for every one IOS device sold.

Why not do this stuff as a web application? That would be much more useful (some people don't have smartphones with data plans) and would work for all platforms.
Most smartphone apps are little more than website front ends anyway.

Did you just say that some people don't have smartphones? I do not understand this. It's like saying people who play this game are 6 years old or 87 years old. I am sure 99% of people with this game have a smartphone or a Iphone (I don't class them as Smart)

So there has been an iOS app out for a while now, and an Android app is promised. I understand that Android is more challenging to develop for because of the diversity of hardware, but there are also many more Android users than iOS users, so you will be pleasing more players.

Any news on when the Android App might be available? A rough ETA?

I know the iOS app doesn't do a whole lot right now. I'm a little hopeful that there will be a decent range of functionality added when they get round to releasing the Android app.

Seemed a bit odd to me as well - largest market share and most mobile developers port from Android to iOS using emulators anyway for all but the most graphic intensive apps.
I'm hoping we see an Android version sooner rather than later.

Was hoping for it this year but tbh I am enjoying the game when I can get to play it. As my connection is ropey it would be good to connect to a station when I can't actually play the game.
