Engineers ED Engineers Travel Distance Chart

It's always been a little frustrating trying to plot a route between engineers, especially right after picking up a new ship and outfitting it when everything needs to be engineered. So I made a little chart to see the distances between all engineers. Presented for your consideration:

The ED Engineers Travel Distance Chart

With this chart, you can easily see how LY of travel to expect between engineers and plot your course accordingly.

Someone may have already created something like this, but I haven't found it, so I hope you find this useful.

cheers,

Looks potentially useful given the imminent RNGineering Giveaway.

Assuming one were going to visit every single Engineer, there must be an optimal travel circuit, i.e. an order that doesn't change wherever one starts. Is this already provided by the chart, or could you set it out? (Apologies if I've missed it!)

I dream of a web app that lets me feed it
1) My starting location; and
2) The list of mods (and grades) I want to apply.
It then works out what Engineers I need to see and spits out an optimised route for just that engineering run. Bonus points if you can tell it who you do / don't have unlocked.

I may be dreaming for a while, though. Until then, this chart'll do nicely. :)

I created one like this a while ago - when starting from scratch with my first alt-CMDR (not to quite the same accuracy though) ;) .

.... along with an unlock requirement and available modifications sheet:

My usual route is: Shinrarta Dezhra (Sensor, Life, Scanners), Deciat (FSD, PP), Wyrd (PD), Laksak (Shield), Leesti (Boosters), Maia (Engine), Kuk (Hull), Muang (Lasers), Wolf 397 (MC).

I often forget to go to Lori, but eventually I'll end up in Shinrarta Dezhra again at some point.

Sometimes I use my Exploration Anaconda for fast travelling modules/weapons, more often than not, I just enjoy the trip in the ship being engineered.

Elite Dangerious is a SCREEN SAVER.

Really so every human in the future will find it advantageous to park all space stations around minor stars!

Thus ensuring long pointless journeys at every star system!!!

Like nobody in the future will think… Hay park that around the major star and we cut travel by 99%, OH! Sorry silly idea.

Or why not since this is a make believe game allow jumps from one star to another so we can play the game instead of watching Netflix!!!

Why not dump passenger missions too. You pick it because its close but then a scan asks you to take the passenger to another galaxy... AIR LOCK THAT MISSION...

What about we make a computer game that is essentially just a screensaver ???

Good IDEA let’s call it Elite Dangerous.
