Release ED-Intelligent Boardcomputer Extension

I downloaded the new version and it didn't do anything. I launched the exe but it just put 3 processes in the task manager and showed no windows or anything else. In fact when it was clear nothing was happening I couldn't kill the processes without rebooting the machine, almost a viral-like behavior.

Doesn't happen on 0.27. However I do get an error on the old one which may be the same problem but different symptom. It's looking for the 32-bit client, I don't have it installed so it's the wrong folder name.

I have the same problem, installed RN, but when i try to run it it asks for the FORC-FDEV products page, but when I point it to it, it just keeps saying "Hm, that does'nt seem right, F:\Games\EDLaunch\products\FORC-FDEV-D-1003 isn't the Frontier Products directory, please try again! and then goes into a continuous loop where the only way to close it down is to do a shut-down of the whole computer. I have also tried it in the Elite Dangerous 64 dir with the same result.

Pleasy download the archive again, it's a new quickfix included.

Hint: please read exactly the info text from the dialogs.
In some situations you have to point to the "products" dir,
in other situations you have to point to the active game-subdir (eg. "FORC-FDEV..." or "elite-dangerous-64").

Thanks Duke! Hey quick Q, and forgive me if I just missed this: Is there a good way to export this data to other tools? I use several suites for their own unique strengths and like to capture a single time and import to all of them.

Have a try and set the ProductsPath and the Gamepath in the RegulateNoiseSettings manually to the
correct (64-bit) directory.
Gamepath is the same as the Productspath + "<ActiveGamedir>"

I tested it with 32 and 64 bit clients installed. Maybe this is the reason
that I had no problems with it. If you set the path manually it could work....

Re-download, same problem. It doesn't seem to actually do anything at all.

sry, I have no idea at the moment for you.

bigtaff had another problem but this should be fixed now (i hope).
...but if you really see "NOTHING" from RN (no error, no splashscreen ..) - sorry no explanation

I get a crash when activating OCR on 0.28, but 0.27 works fine with the new layout for me (32-bit client still). Here's a dump file for 0.28

+rep for being the only actively maintained (and working!) ocr project!

Thanks.

I checked the dump file:
It seems the tesseract-engine can't be initialized. It returns
Failed to initialise tesseract engine.. See https://github.com/charlesw/tesseract/wiki/Error-1 for details.

Have you overwritten all old files with the archive from the new 0.28 ? (please have in mind to make a beckup before)

Please test this:
you can try to start 0.28 in a complete new directory without your old files and do the calibration again ? Does this work ?

And/or check this page : https://github.com/charlesw/tesseract/wiki/Error-1
maybe you find a hint for your problem

MOOOOOOOOOOOOP

my mistake  :D

It seems you've got the first release of the 0.28 where I forgot some files
Please load the archive again from github (the new one with the ending "..0.28_2")

I hope this works

you can set all pricelevels to -1

if you wan't to delete older data (e.g. older 1 month or so) you can purge this

Thank you for response. I've set everything to -1. and I still get "IMPLAUSIBLE RESULTS!" errors. I need some sort of way to ignore the error and import the data, otherwise I'm stuck. The "Check Implausible" could maybe be doing with Ignore options or something.

As for purging data, I don't want it to do any manipulation to my data, I have historical data that is still up to date and not on other database's.

Thank you for your help, and well-done with the updates.

Duke,
Wanted to thank you for quickly getting RegulatedNoise working again! I just started playing a few weeks ago and enjoy trading a lot. With the economy grinding to a halt after the E:D Market Connector stopped working due to the API issues, this is exactly what we need to get going again.

I just installed the latest version and it's working perfectly.

Let's get trading everyone!

Feature suggestion:
Make an option to automatically delete sell prices of commodities with significantly higher than minimal station selling prices, and also for automatically deleting "buy-only" commodity data with station buying price significantly lower than "top-of-the-range" prices (RMS or the like can be used for cutoff). This should help against DB growth due to not-so-needed-for-trading data, and will alleviate slow startup times when DB had grown (say, from listening to EDDN for some time).

Hi,

I have EliteOCR V0.5.4.1.0 installed and yet when I use RN, it always misses the last digit of the prices, I.e Grain Sell = 205, Buy = 255, OCR recognises only 20 and 25, I have done all the calibrating and I'm using a standard resolution and FOV, and yet if I use TCE (Trade Computer Extension), which also uses EliteOCR it recognises the prices correctly.

Can you give any help?

regards, Bigtaff:S

You can try to set the concerning calibration line a little bit more to the right.
The last digit seems to be cutted.

Hi I've just started to try to use this in favour of ElteOCR.

I have calibrated and performed a scan. It reports Implausible results.

EVERY time I click 'Check Implausible Results' it crashes and produces a dump.
