Dr. Kaii,

I've used your profiler for a while, but built a new computer recently. The version on the server that I see is still 2.2, is there somewhere else I should be looking other than: http://files.drkaii.com/EDP/publish.htm ? Is the newest version in another location I can access?

Having the same issue was Temkiball. Even tho in the site it says 3.3, its the 2.2 version after instalation @drkaii

Ok folk, it appears to be working for me, so please go ahead and download/update. Let me know if there are any issues. If 3 people could report back when they've done so, then await a confirmation from me, and then try another update and let me know if it worked, then we are 100% good.

PLEASE NOTE: I'VE ONLY TESTED THIS WORKING FOR ME, IF YOU FIND IN FUTURE IT DOESN'T UPDATE, YOU CAN ALWAYS UNINSTALL/DOWNLOAD FRESH and hopefully by then the issue will be fixed.

Also PLEASE NOTE: a lot of behind the scenes work has changed, with redirects and what not and you might still get errors, but that's because your browser will have cached the old files. Please either use a different browser, clean your cache if you know how, or wait a day or two for the cache to automatically update itself

Seems ok here - update went ahead then app restarted, all seems fine..
Checked again after update and the app correctly reported no avail update.
App is showing v3.3

Seems to be working now. Only issue for me was the ultra slow download speed. It took about 7 minutes to download. And i know its not my internet that is having issues. other than that its working fine. finally able to get the 3.3 version and now resize de window YES.

Hey Dr. Kaii, I am not sure if this has been brought to your attention yet or not, but I originally installed EDProfiler when my Elite install was on a separate hard drive and recently installed it onto my boot drive (I also edited my registry top change my default install path to my second drive) to get it to work with VR. Now when I try to click on the default presets ("Low", "Medium", "High", "Ultra") I get the error message that is attached, which is apparently an exception to do with the path to the game preset files. I also changed my default install location back and rebooted to see if that would fix it, but no dice. I have also reinstall the application.

There wouldn't happen to be any command line parameters would there? Some way to launch the app and have it immediately-switch to the passed in profile?

Hi Dr Kaii, Recently came back to Elite and wanted to change my HUD and display colours, ran EDProfiler (Donated in 18) only to find it asked for update, allowed the update now EDProfiler refuses to run, uninstalled the app, restarted PC and tried to reinstall but setup.exe refuses to run even if I select run as administrator. Please help.

Hi all.Recently came back to Elite, to play with my Rift and I'm enjoying it a ton this time around.
Used the EDProfiler I heard about and was happy to easily switch from VR to Non VR.

Then today, bought the Horizons expansion. It's installed, and using the EDprofiler, the new startup page (blue colors) shows up.But when I start the game from there, it always will start in NON VR, even though I have the EDprofiler set toVR.

any tips? Gotta be a noob question, hopefully.

Bit of a late reply (hopefully you have already sorted this!) but make sure that you have the VR / 3D set to HMD Headphones. ED will then start in your headset

Hi.

I'm having issues with running the profiler. It installs and runs - can detect current settings and I've confirmed I do have a GraphicsConfigurationOverride file present. But when attempting to 'apply' any change of settings, the laucher reports 'Unhandled exception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.' I have to hit the undo button to be able to launch Elite at all.

Any ideas? Thanks.

having same problem. copied Elite Dangerous folder to different drive (SSD). would reinstall fix?

EDIT: still does it after reinstall.

I came here looking for answers after I changed my install location as well.

Found this on his website which worked like a charm.

"The simplest way to fix any and all problems is to close EDProfiler, delete all the files in your %localappdata%\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Graphics folder, as well as your entire ...\My Documents\EDProfiler folder, then start Elite, go to Graphics Options, hit apply and then restart EDProfiler"

Hi, I've moved to a new computer and have ED up and running, but with the default colour scheme. I've downloaded the profiler but don't have the options to try out the colour schemes. I will be honest and don't really know what all the settings do in the profiler, but I have used it over the years to try more pleasing colours
The profiler does say it can't detect my settings. I followed your instructions on your download page and deleted the files/folder you mentioned, but it still wont work.

Any help gratefully appreciated

I am having an issue of not being able to apply the extra settings. I constnatly get a message that says my file isp probably corrupt, but I doubt that
