Howdy- I have a fairly decent setup I have been using for a long time on the X55 then X56s etc, happy to share here to you or anyone else with a X56.Just got myself a new X56 ...and I was looking for a ref card I could fill in myself....then i found THIS....THIS is freaking amazing!
Hi,
I just came back to Elite and I have to relearn my controls.
Also I have to add all the "new" controls and I realy need some kind of visual reference.
Your tool looks realy promissing
Sadly I got a an error "Unknown Device detected" and I should report this with the reference "ruevvw".
I am using the following CH Products
- Fighterstick USB (CM Device 1)
- Pro Throttle USB (CM Device 2)
- Pro Peddals (CM Device 3)
Please let me know if i you need more information.
Thanks a lot![]()
Thanks, I will try this. I need the Control Manager for some other games and I will see If it is enough to set the CM to "Direct Mode".Just an FYI - I have all three of those connected* and EDRefCard recognises them with no problems. I think your issue is probably the use of Control Manager - I don't even have that installed on my machine.
* Actually my current binds does not use the rudder pedals any more but they were OK when I did.

This is something that will have to be fixed at my end I’m afraid, probably by re-drawing that template to have larger boxes. There is an algorithm that tries to fit the given amount of text in nicely, but it has its limits. One workaround would be to upload your bindings one time with, say, just ship commands selected, another time with just SRV commands, etc.Getting funky, badly formatted (overlayed) text regardless of what browser I use, like so:

any idea what might be the cause and how to correct?
I know I can break things up by category to avoid this, I just like to have a sheet that shows all my binds in one shot I can send to friends for quick reference. I guess because Space Legs has added a bunch of new binds, the keyboard sheet is running out of room and cutting off some of the binds from the master list. Don't know if this is something worth fixing, but I wanted to report it. Thank you so much for all your hard work on this tool. I love love love it! It really helps me map things out properly without a bunch of menu flipping in-game. Great job!
Example pic of issue attached.
Thank you Commander! I admit at times I find it difficult to muster the energy to work on these side projects: it is messages like yours that give me the impetus to keep me going.Just dropping by to leave a big thank you - I use your RefCard since you made it accessible
Without it I could never have the setup i have, kudos
I do wish you luck! And I keep my fingers crossed that support of all the new bindings is to come soon[...] Wish me luck!
Predefined bindings are buried in the game files (specifically, in "%LocalAppData%\Frontier_Developments\Products\<name-of-the-game>\ControlSchemes"; note the underscore in Frontier_Developments).I love this, printed out two copies, one for the desktop and one for the laptop. But. my question, I added my Hotas t-flight x back to my PC. but no bind file is showing in the local AppData folder. Thanks for the assistance and the great program.
Thank you...(I should know this already)Predefined bindings are buried in the game files (specifically, in "%LocalAppData%\Frontier_Developments\Products\<name-of-the-game>\ControlSchemes"; note the underscore in Frontier_Developments).
The "%LocalAppData%\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings" folder is for custom bindings, i.e. those you can modify yourself. If you load a predefined bindings set then modify some binding, the Custom.binds file ought to appear there.
