I am liking the new Exploration tab in concept. It is supposed to be a comprehensive display of our discoveries, or is it limited in how far back in time it goes? I ask because it appears to be missing a whole lot of star types, planet types, and actual numbers are far too low, at least on my profile dashboard.
Try importing again all your old journals files might help as the new API only exists for about 8 months.

That's showing an estimated scan value since last dock for me of 23m. EDD reckons its 343m. That is quite some discrepancy...
Are you only counting values since we started sending you the scan journals direct and not planets that came via EDDN?
Reloading the journals seems to be working for adding exploration data, but my oh my this is going to take a while with over 1000 files to re-upload 
Regarding the new Exploration dashboard, how tough would it be to add add a line with the total number of bodies reported for each body type so we could compare our numbers to the totals? Make sense?
Back in ye olde days I trilaterated my position every 15 jumps or so. When FDev started giving us coordinates I had about 13k systems in EDSM that I'd visited with no position. And now there are none.

Sorry if posting in wrong place, but I have some issues with the website.
For 3 days so far my flight log, heatmap, travel map etc. don't update (on edsm.net). I'm using EDDiscovery, last logged system was on 7th August but after that I did another >100 jumps. I've tried (several times already) to sync, refresh, rescan journal files, and even change my API, still can't get this working. All work fine in EDD, the thing is it doesn't update the website profile for some reason.
Is there something I'm missing?

What version of EDD are you running - latest is 10.1.6 but there were a few 9.x releases where the update check was broken.
What does the log panel show when you run the EDSM sync?

I uninstalled EDD and removed all the remaining files. Downloaded it again, installed, and now I'm trying to make it work.
The recent log looks like this:
so here it looks fine, but since yesterday EDD updated only 44 flight log entries, nothing from today (another ~50-80) and still are missing those from those 2 days before.
So I'm still not sure where to look and how to fix it.

I'm sure I used the sync button before. I assume that earlier some files may have been broken, so I also got those messages about not syncing. I've just tried it again, EDD sent all the events again (I think), I've checked the website and all is there as it should be

When I upload my logs to EDSM, all of my recent logs from June 25th are listed as Multicrew, and none of my activity since then shows up on my flight log. I have done very little mutlicrew sessions before and during this time, so I'm not sure why it listed several days worth of logs as taking place in multicrew. Is there a workaround to this so I can get my data to show up in my EDSM flight logs? I'm in the middle of my first real exploration run and I'd like to have something to look back to when I get back to the bubble, this is actually breaking my heart.
Turned out it was because I had crashed during a multicrew session. I fixed it by adding a "quitacrew" entry manually.

Am I wrong in thinking that a "Level 3 scan" means using Advanced Discovery Scanner + Detailed Surface Scanner to scan planetary bodies & get all the juicy details (metal composition & %ages, etc)? If not, what does it take for EDSM to know they've occurred?
I use EDMC (latest non-beta version) and have it set to auto connect (at station docking) via API keys / logins, etc, including for EDSM.
I've been doing a lot of exploration the past few days, docked at a station today, EDMC did it's automatic sync / upload on docking, my flight log seems accurate and shows the credit value of my (as yet unsold) explorations, but my profile page on EDSM still says I've never done a single Level 3 scan, which, unless I'm completely clueless about Level 3 scans, is incorrect.

The level 3 on your profile comes from the in-game statistics, it is only updated on game reload.
Thanks for the reply; I'll try again, but I've reloaded (log in, exit to desktop, log back in, etc) several times over the past few days. Certainly since Sunday or Monday (I forget which, exactly) when I would have done the first scan with the DSS.
Edit: Also, just noticed that I just received (overnight) EDSM "Badge unlocked!" email notifications for events that happened weeks ago. E.g., "Pimp My Ride"; that actually would have happened the first day I started playing back in ~February. And "Playing the Markets" (reach trade rank of Merchant) just arrived last night as well, even though I'm already at Trading > Elite. Could these delayed notifications be tied to the other (Level 3) data not updating in a timely manner, either?
