My RL name is Enrique and I'm an original Elite backer with a couple of 1-2 year long hiatus in gameplay since 2014, but also some periods of frenzied activity. I came back to Elite last August after reminiscing with a friend...and several hundred hours of play since, I'm here to stay.
One the things that got me the most excited lately, rather than all the new ships, was the announcement of the Vanguards upgrade. I have already roped in several friends who are also Elite "veterans" like me to play as a team -all backers who at some point left the game but never quite forgot it. I was counting on being able to share some of my many engineered modules with them, because there are several who were primarily into exploration and never quite liked the engineering grind.
Having watched the recent videos by Mechan and Exorcist on the Vanguards upgrade, I thought a petition was in order. Without the possibility of sharing engineered modules, there is no point in having a bank. My RL example above regarding my friends is even more true if we want to attract NEW PLAYERS, and it is clear that Frontier wants to seriously consider new players.
Fellow players, dear FDEV team, please hear me out!
